A&W Canada — Restaurant in Oshawa

This morning my Mother and I met up for a walk and to share breakfast together.. Two coffee's and two egg, cheese and bacon breakfast sandwhiches. $15.00...seriously overpriced.. Especially in view of the fact we were given sandwhiches with green and black egg's..!! When we took them back to the Cashier she was unmoved in the slightest.. "We can make you another breakfast" the Cashier tells us..

More rotten egg's? You cannot be serious..

Then, we were just casually brushed aside after being told we couldn't have a refund.. No one, there, saw the high potential that they are food poisoning their Customer's..and our money was as good as stolen..

That outlet requires a giant reset in Staff and the owner need's to stress, in training, that when you're cooking and preparing foods that aren't even their natural colour, you do not serve it up, anyways.. That is a grave dereliction of duty to not even try to ensure food safety and quality are consistent.

This A&W outlet does not exhibit the professionalism that is required in the food industry regarding the sales of rotted foods..

So, we didn't get to have breakfast, but, we were relieved of our money.. This is a bona fide warning, folk's.. That store will take your money and better health via food poisoning. There is a, much larger than necessary, risk in 'eating', at this location.

I couldn't believe the completely cavalier carelessness.. A restaraunt can be shut down when you serve rotted food's..but, they did not example any measure of responsibility..

Food poisoning can be potentially fatal.. A very serious matter, indeed.. But, this A&W does not share any concern for customer's, or, food safety while your money is, somehow, transported to the 4th dimension..

No refund..

This A&W is a blight and a serious danger to customer's, as well as, the Oshawa Centre brand..

My friend and I went here today. My friend has a digestion issue, she can't eat meat. We went to A&W because they offer the Beyond Meat Burger. When we went, my friend asked POLITELY if they would be able to make the sandwich a little differently, as she has many times before without any complications/problems. One of the female cooks in the back was asked up to the front, because the Cashier was new, and just wanted to make sure that it was okay. My friend explained how she wanted the sandwich to the lady, and she didn't seem to understand, and she kept saying that they wouldn't be able to make it the way my friend wanted. My friend told her she's had it made that way before, and the lady stormed to the back and yelled "I'm NOT dealing with this" ... What kind of customer service is that? Myself and my friend were nothing but nice, and respectful, as we work in the customer service field ourselves, we know what's it's like to work a public service job. We always go out of our way to be extra nice to people who work in customer service. The manager, Michael was super nice though! He was very apologetic for that rude worker's attitude. I want to say thank you again, Michael, for making us feel better after that extremely rude worker's poor customer service. We will not be returning,...

I had come for lunch and upon receiving my drink I had placed it on the table and went to wait for my food, upon returning to my table my drink was leaking out from the bottom of the cup and spilling on the table, I had gone back to ask for another drink and explained what happened. The staff at the till stated she can’t give me another drink because she doesn’t know what I did with it, while waiting for this answer I noticed the staff in the back preparing food without gloves, and the staff at the till handling money then putting her bare hand over fries and putting them in a bag without washing her hands. I brought my food back and let her know I will not be eating it due to the unhygienic and unsanitary nature of the establishment and requested a refund. She had let me know it’s not within their policy to wear gloves. She gave me a refund in cash and said it was due to her debit machine not working, even though I had just used it. This was an awful experience and I wouldn’t recommend this...
