Mr A's Quick Flame Restaurant — Restaurant in Oshawa

We had a very positive experience with this restaurant last night that I felt was worth sharing!! We went to our skip the dishes app to find somewhere new last night and came across Mr. A's Quick Flame. I have always driven by and noticed it but never had a reason to go. I remembered seeing many positive reviews so decided to order from them. Sadly the food disappeared too fast so we didn't get pics!! Both myself and husband ordered burgers and fries and we ordered chicken fingers for our daughter. The burgers were massive, they were 8oz homemade patties and omg, probably the biggest, thickest burger I've received to date. I couldn't eat it all and neither could my husband. Lots of fries to go with it too. Hubby ordered the banquet burger and I ordered the Quick Flame burger, hubby's is pretty self explanatory but mine had cheese, peameal bacon and what they call their quick flame sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by this secret sauce, it was a sweet homemade BBQ style with fried onions mixed in, gave the burger a very nice flavour. The burgers had that nice flame flavour and the meat was seasoned nicely too, cooked perfectly leaving them still juicy. The fries were slightly crispy which I'm not sure we have experienced yet ordering takeout, they always get that steamed effect. This family restaraunt is a beautiful space with very confortable seating and an el fresco patio, as well. The food is very good and the menu has a wide selection of dishes as well as an alcohol menu and wine list. This restaraunt has been in business for decades and remains a high standard, affordable restaraunt. Located across from a Tim Hortons and a short walk from the Oshawa Court house, the Oshawa Clinic as well as downtown Oshawa. This is a nicely decorated, bright family restaraunt which is not a franchise. Therefore, the service and atmosphere is more intimate with very good, not processed food. Mr.A's Quick Flame is an amazing family restaraunt. The seating is very comfortable with two sections of seating area. The food is absolutely the best. It's like home cooking at it's finest. No pre-made, or, warmed frozen meals, here. There is, also, a patio area for el fresco dining. This relaxed, friendly atmosphere with attentive, accomodating staff is of the finest fashion. The restarant is, also, L.C.B.O. licensed for those who may enjoy an alcoholic beverage with their meals.
