I do delivery with Door Dash, Skip the dishes and Uber eats since last 5 years and have done various areas like Greater Vancouver area, Greater Toronto area, Windsor area and Niagara Region and now I am doing in Okanagan Region from Kelowna to Penticton. I was picking up order few days ago from this location fir door dash delivery and as seen in the picture, order was packed like that which had one drink and food and when I asked politely them that could you please pack in the proper bag, arrogant manager clearly said no and told me that they don’t pack one drink in the bigger bag with drink tray. So, here is the common sense that if drink falls in the bag and spilled, clearly blamed to delivery driver and even if bag has partitions, without drink tray, how driver can handle delivery which was packed like this. Is driver going to driving or holding drink to deliver. Manager is arrogant and has high ego. I’m questioning even to myself that who hired him, who trained him!!!! No common sense or may be jealous with delivery driver. Plus, manager told me that if the customer has any question, they can talk to him but seems to be he doesn’t care if the customers. Manager needs to learn to talk with people who come there and doesn’t matter who are they, customer or delivery driver. While talking showing only attitude like he owns this Tim Hortons. I will avoid this place for ordering for sure for my own food because I am not wasting my money and if the packaging is this way, it clearly shows that they don’t care for the customers. Needs to think...
Read moreThis was the best Tim Horton in penticton considered the quality. However the service was awful. Every other staffs were kind but the old lady was rude. Feel like racism.
I was with my child, so I was a bit overwhelmed and couldn’t communicate properly when confirming my order, which seemed to make the old lady staff give me a judgmental look. Also, the donut sign was wrong, and instead of the donut I ordered, she gave me a different one. She grumbled as if I had made the mistake, but another staff member said it was the sign’s fault. I also ordered a lemonade, but it tasted like vinegar, so I asked them to check it. The old lady, however, mocked me “ there’s no vinegar in lemonade “ while giving me the same drink again. But another staff member tasted it, agreed something was wrong, and she apologized to me and said she threw it away , and kindly made a new one using fresh syrup. I truly appreciate the quality of Team Horton here and the kindness of the other staff, but the old lady’s racist comments and behavior made me feel bad, and now I don’t want to...
Read moreHaving bad customer service (as reported here) through neglect is one thing. Actually going through the effort to create it is another level.
It's bananas that they went through the effort to put up a sign and monitor at the front entrance that says "Pick up & Mobile Orders", displaying pick up order numbers by a designated area for pick ups.
Then, after waiting 10 minutes, I realised the pick up order numbers weren't changing. When I asked, one of the staff said they were not real numbers.
Why post them then - just to mislead and confuse your customers??
And then, turns out they don't even want you to pick up your pick up orders there, but at the other side of the cafe.
It takes a special business owner to go this far to actually spend time and money in making customers feel insanely disrespected and consciously misled. What the heck...
