The actual concept, the lanes, the atmosphere are all fine. It’s not a negative review of the alley. It’s of the staff.
Staff are unnecessarily rude when you walk in the door. I understand there are rules in place set off by disrespectful people. However, it doesn’t seem necessary to treat everyone who walks in the door as though they are the ones who’ve caused this.
Within 30 seconds of entering the building I was snapped at and belittled for not immediately knowing and understanding the laws of the land in the bowling alley. I was with my young niece and nephew, my parents and my siblings. All sober and there for a family evening over Christmas. I understand why rules are in place, but there is a level where common sense should prevail in how you carry them out.
Either way, snapping at someone when they walk in the door is a sure way to ruin someone’s evening. There are better, more effective ways to communicate. I overheard other bowling groups say the same thing about being snapped at as we put our shoes on to leave.
Some training in effective communication and tone of voice would go a long way in impacting the enjoyment of patrons.
Reading the negative reviews of this place, this theme of rudeness comes up a lot, and the management always responds to these reviews with a list of reasons why it’s the guest’s fault and not theirs. I’ve even read responses where they assume a review has come from a group of drinkers, and blame them for being rowdy, with no evidence to suggest that one group is affiliated with another. The staff are obviously jaded from bad experiences with their guests, and they allow their preconceptions to impact how they interact with everyone who walks...

Mini golf was fun and the cosmic effects were cool. The course was also enjoyable.
We brought cupcakes for our party and was told at the door that was not allowed!
The service was not enjoyable. 10 minutes into golfing we were accused of going around a second time when we were just half way through the course. With 6 people in the party things take longer.
Bowling alley itself had issues with multiple breaks where we had to wait for service. Also, the pins were not detected correctly so score was not calculated properly.
The lanes are pay by the hour, with no wiggle room. You pay per person and we had 6 people on a lane so our hour was more expensive than a 4 person party. 1 hour is not enough time for 6 people to finish. They gave us 5 extra minutes to cover the shutdowns but we still couldn't finish.
They should at least let you finish a game but no, we would have had to pay for another 15 minutes so we left without getting to play a whole game!
It wasn't busy, no one was waiting. If we had used two lanes of three people we could have finished but they didn't recommend that to us.
We also bought food and drinks and still no consideration to allow you to finish a single round.
I do not recommend. Their pricing scheme is not friendly and neither is the service. Do not come here if you want to...
Read moreTerrible experience. Extremely under staffed, they were not able to accommodate all the guests in the store. 2 employees running 5 and 10 pin, doing all the shoes, running a consession, also running a bar in a separate part of the store, they also run the mini golf and distribute the clubs and balls. They charge lanes by the minute, but then toh stand in line for 20 minutes to get a drink... at a bowling alley... that is completely absurd. This business has potential and is way underperformed from what looks like bad management. No urgently hiring signs anywhere, so obviously the managers don't think they are short handed. It's easier to just dilute the experience of your guests and waste their time, over work your staff etc. Yet they say "Have your birthday party here!" I would be so upset if I hand my child's birthday here and we couldn't even get a drink. It was sad. My party would have stayed much longer and we would have spent a lot more money, but there was absolutely no service. The one reason this isn't a 1 star is because the ladies running the show (the 2 ladies) they looked calmer than a regular person, which was impressive. Just doing the best they can.
Thanks for your...
