Fun for the first 30 minutes... went with my group of teenage friends to celebrate a birthday. We were pushing each other in and were told to stop and that was our first warning. We apologized and said we understood and didnt continue to do it. 20 minutes later we were racing around a little loop and a few of us fell and slid off. (its slippery and this is literally what's expected to happen). Then we were called by one of the staff members and told to leave because we didnt follow the rules. First of all, we werent told not to push each other before going on the wibit; and second of all, we didnt break the rules again and were still told to leave "because the manager had said it looked bad and that there are parents on the beach." I understand that there may be some parents watching from the beach that dont like that teens are allowed on, but really, to KICK US OFF after we payed 30 dollars? I'm not usually one to stand up for myself in a situation like this but this was really hurtful and disappointing. I would understand if we continued to push each other or were pushing little kids but we had stopped immediately and were still told to leave. I do hope this is seen by a manager or a staff member because my friends and I were quite upset about how we were treated simply...
Read moreIt was okay. It was too rough for my 9 year old and my 7 year old so they stopped doing it very quickly. My older two played longer but not really long enough to justify the cost. Too many of the older visitors were playing really rough. When we were told that if other visitors where too rough and violating the rules to inform the life guards. They sort of took action if you really pointed it out, but otherwise didn’t do their job very well. My older kids got tired of trying to get their attention to get the other kids to play according to the rules. We left. We wouldn’t come back.
Oh and by the way your safety form that you sign uses the wrong word, “insinuating” instead of “extenuating”, which is so lol given the rest of the experience. You should get a lawyer to re-review it, probably someone other than who wrote it, because if that little bomb exists in there what...
Read moreCame into Penticton last weekend for a day trip. Not Only did I notice while laying on the beach that the life guard wasn’t paying attention very well to the children, but at times I couldn’t even see and lifeguard. Than later that night I had noticed some young adults sneaking into it. I noticed from the side what I assumed was the owner of the floaty(it was) yelling at them. 10-15 minutes later they came out of the water and I had noticed it getting heated. The owner of the floaty had thrown there items into the garbage bin. They couldn’t get there stuff out. I understand that they shouldn’t have been on that floaty, but like I heard them say... there was no sign... and regardless throwing there stuff into a garbage where they couldn’t grab it was one of the most pathetic things...
