Holy Mochi Donuts — Restaurant in Port Moody

August update: Mmm mochi donuts!

Made the trek out to Port Moody with my friend to get a fresh box of mochi donuts! Open Friday-Sunday from 11am-4pm, you can walk in or preorder the mochi donuts; the small batches are made daily and the owner and staff are SO nice.

Inconspicuous front door but leads to a display and POS tap station. Today’s flavor lineup: vanilla bean, orange blossom, blueberry basil, hojicha, miso chocolate and Vietnamese coffee. I really liked the hojicha today - nice and bouncy and not too sweet. They’re also all gluten free!

They also had an amazing lineup of Vietnamese coffee - I got the pandan and LOVED IT. Perfect summer drink on a hot hot day and I was buzzed all day! I heard that new fall flavors are coming out next month in September, so be on the lookout!

Amazing donuts! Love how they’re gluten free mochi donuts. Great denseness and bounce to them. I enjoyed all their speciality flavors, especially the pandan, smores and ube. I was in Port Moody for a few hours, so of course, I had to find some donut shops that I haven't tried!! This was my first stop!! The girl who took my order was SO friendly!! I got 2 cookie monster donuts for my girls and I to try! The girl who helped me said she put a Vietnamese coffee donut for me to try as well! OMG I have tried my share of donuts but WOW this one was amazing! The perfect chewy but soft bite, unlike any donut I have had before!! If you're ever in Port Moody make sure you try this place!!! It's kind of hidden since its a shared kitchen but maps takes you right to it! I also got the Vietnamese ice coffee which was also spot on. If I could give higher then 5 stars I would! Do NOT sleep on this...
