Sweet Talk — Restaurant in Port Moody

I recently visited Sweet Talk in Port Moody, and it was a delightful experience. I was initially indecisive about the breakfast sandwiches, but the server recommended the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and it was a great choice. The egg was a delicious mix of scrambled and sriracha mayo, and the bacon was perfectly soft. The sandwich felt wonderfully messy, but in the best way possible, with a soft, fresh bun and well-paired ingredients.

The parmesan truffle tater tots were a bit of a letdown, with a slight freezer burn taste and under-seasoning. Adding more salt and Parmesan could elevate the flavor. However, the speed of service was impressive, with our food ready in about five to six minutes.

For dessert, I had the lemon yuzu poppy seed donut, which was deliciously reminiscent of a lemon loaf, while my friend enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate donut, a perfect blend of rich chocolate dough and peanut butter topping.

The iced strawberry matcha drink was a refreshing change from coffee, with layers that mixed beautifully. The strawberry layer tasted like a McDonald's strawberry milkshake, and the matcha was pleasantly strong but not overly bitter.

The atmosphere was really nice, feeling boutique and small yet cozy. The decor colors meshed well and created cool vibes. Overall, the experience was 10 out of 10. For the price, everything, including tax and tip, came to just under $50 for the both of us, which was quite reasonable for the quality and variety of food.

Overall, Sweet Talk offers a great variety of sweet and savory options, with a friendly atmosphere and quick service. I highly recommend trying their breakfast...

Pre ordered 12 doughnuts for my daughter's Birthday. Went to pick it up and was told they "lost"the pre order!? Didn't have the doughnut my daughter wanted specifically for her on that day so settled for what they had available on that day.. The compensation for this was 6 free doughnuts. I didn't want 6 free doughnuts! I wanted my pre order to simply be done! These 6 free doughnut coupons had 5 days before they expired on them & was told you can only use 1 per day ? Thanks I have the time to find parking over the next 5 days to come collect my free doughnut 1 day at a time lol !! Also No phone # to call ?? The young lady at the front seemed to think it was funny as she smirked & was looking at her phone cleary not trained in customer service !! Crystal clear she did not care at all ? :( Outstanding & very disappointing really !! The owner Scott extended the coupons which was nice of him to do. Thank you. The young lady that is the face of your buisness is not an asset to it. Sort that out please. The doughnuts are delicious ! parking is a ballache and the fact there is no phone # plus the excuse of "loosing" a pre order and complete & utter disregard of my expieriance as if my $ doesn't matter is why I rate 1 * ! id give it 0* if that was option due to the lack of concern & care towards their mistake....

I love this place because where else can you find yummy donuts during the day and then unique tasty cocktails at night? Definitely a first of it's kind!

We came here for cocktails and just had to try almost everything on the menu. The bartender also made us some unique custom drinks like a smokey mai tai (out of this world). I really like fruit forward drinks and ordered the backseat bingo (fave), Joanie loves chachi, and the made in the shade. Even the non alcohol drinks are good! I ordered two since I had become designated driver.

The food here is also really good! The cheeseburger tartare actually tastes like cheeseburger!!! I also really liked the chips and dip, broccoli, and cheesy garlic bread. I definitely want to come back and try all the bites on the menu.

It's a small intimate space with really cool lighting and ambiance. There is some outdoor seating as well for those warmer nights.

The staff here are awesome and it's always refreshing when the owner/bartender hand delivers you some of your drinks and chats with the patrons. Are server was also adorable and so sweet and patient with us.
