As the manager of the store I would like to add my inputs to the several recent 1 star reviews.
Oleksandr Avramenko wrote a dishonest review on our store simply due to the fact that we did not allow his wife to competitively shop in our store. On top of that over the past several visits he has been extremely aggressive and expressed his hatred towards Russian people. I found his opinions very distasteful as we happily serve any type of customer and do not discriminate against any culture of people in our store. Oleksandr became very aggressive when I did not allow him to continue express his unwelcome opinions. Oleksandr then wrote his review in order to tarnish our reputation and even threatened to review bomb our store with more fake reviews.
llya has their reviews hidden for some odd reason. I cannot confirm if this person even came to our store.
Winter L Storm is a person who works our competitors or is friends with Beata Bilot (below) and was sent to rate not 1 but all 3 of our stores, within a short period of time, with a 1 star rating. They also rated other direct competitors with 5 stars within that same short time period as well. Coincidence? Look at their profile.
Beata Bilot wrote a disingenuous review. Most likely friends of Winter L Storm because both of their reviews came at around the same time. That caviar that was bought from our store ONLY comes in either 500g or 1kg packages. The price was $55 for 500g NOT 200g. Read moreI used to shop at this store pretty often, but decided to quit as they did not agree to accept back spoiled cheese (smoked gouda) due to their two days return policy. It was very disappointing as I purchased this cheese for my husband's birthday dinner as he really into cheese. The one I got from Taste of Ukraine had something in it that was creaking on teeth. Like tiny crystals or sand. My husband refused to eat it and suggested to return it. Two days later I was attempting to return the cheese to the store - but the manager, who was contacted by the cashier refused to accept it due to unusually short return policy. Beware, the food from this store might not be fresh enough beyond two days after purchase. Maybe this is the reason for such unusually short return policy. This is not the first time they sell something spoiled to me. However, in the past they agreed to accept it back; like the chocolate candies with dead insect in them. In reply to the owners response: First, I left the store when you made it clear that you won't refund the money and yes, I was upset because of it. Second, even though you don't manufacturer the cheese - you profit from selling it in the community, so you should have some kind of responsibility and solve the issue with your supplier. Read moreIn response to owner: your cashier is a liar because I did not tell her to go home or to quit her job. I just said this was not an excuse to being rude. She was feeling bad to give a basic customer service but she was healthy enough to raise her voice at me. I was not ready for such rudeness and I wish I recorded the conversation. Of course she will create stories to make herself innocent. Before this evening I really liked your store, we were there many times and we were always polite and friendly and you can track our purchases via my phone number history . Unfortunately that unfriendly hostile woman made our visit a nightmare.
We are (used to be, I guess) constant customers, who buy a lot. Today, however, that around 6:50pm we faced not only with the rude cashier, but with the hostile one. This woman does not know what is a customer service, more than that, she allowed herself to yell at us, when I mentioned at check out that she could be friendlier. No basis “thank you”, no smile but angry face - I really had the feeling she hates her job and her customers and prefers to stay on the phone all the time with her “boss” and we were just a burden to her.
