Worst experience ever. Had a pack of their horchata beer explode after coming out of my fridge 20 mins prior and it TOTALLY destroyed the whole kitchen. 1 exploded and then the other 3 were about to explode, hissing making weird noises, tops bulging out, so I had to quickly throw them outside. Top on the other that blew up was entirely blown off, plastic top also across the room. I was in another room when it happened and heard a HUGE boom, I come in and see the room absolutely dripping top to bottom in beer. Entire kitchen / ceiling / walls / appliances / furniture / 3 sets of blinds / my new white chairs / white lamp shades completely covered in dark beer. Emailed company and they aren’t responding. I’ve been cleaning for days on end. The beer also soaked the inside of all my cupboards from dripping so heavily off the ceiling and I can’t get the stains out. I know a few in the beer industry who say this isn’t normal and is because of poor brewing process..also the fact they don’t email me back either says a lot….

Awful...

Great beer, service was a letdown during our visit. Arrived to ask for a table of 4, said it’d be a 10-15 minute wait. No problem even if it’s a bit longer than that. Asked if they needed my name to put on a list, “it’s fine and we’ll come grab you”.

Fast forward almost an hour later when a table finally clears up. Another group who arrived (long) after me got seated first, due to my name not being on the wait list and there’s being present.

When I asked about it, they said the other group had arrived prior to me and had just walked away, which was incorrect but because of my name not being on their list, it’s how it looked to them.

I’d like to give this place a lower rating but they have great beer. Proper front of house coordination is needed to prevent another frustrating and confusing situation like this from happening again. I don’t plan on going to sit in here again, if I want anything from them I’ll get it from a liquor store and...

I live in Alberta and on a recent road trip to the Vancouver area, I stopped in Port Moody to check out this brewery because I had heard good things about their beer. I review a ton of beers on the Untappd app and the beers brewed at Twin Sails did not disappoint! I sat near the open doors on a beautiful Spring afternoon and people-watched as I sipped on some beautifully crafted beers that were robustly flavourful and aromatic. From the citrus/tropical fruit bombs Dat Juice and Kool Koala to the roasty, full-bodied stout Str8 Flexin' to the traditional and well-balanced Pilsner, these guys know how to brew great beer. I'm hoping in the future they are able to expand their distribution out to Alberta as well. I've tried beers from most of the breweries in B.C. and I would have to say that Twin Sails and Four Winds are at the top of the pack when it comes to quality and flavour. Definitely worth the trip...

The short: - tried and liked multiple beers, mainly ipas - visited the brewery twice since 2019 and would love to go back again due to their beer, service, and dog allowance (in patio) The long: - good covid measures: physically distanced seating, staff wore masks, contact tracing, QR code menu - my fav beers are: juice plus citra ipa, volcano prince milkshake ipa, good clean fun west coast ipa, high socks mosaic ipa, vapor wave tart ipa with sea salt - offer flights of beer - friendly service, but was a little slow possibly due to covid and limited resources/staff - close to other great breweries (example: parkside, yellow dog) - food trucks nearby - limited dedicated parking but more parking in the park on the other side of the street - dog poop bag station - have clean, good-sized restrooms

Twin Sails has a very nice and cozy feel inside. Which was great as I was visiting on a Sunday in February. It was also great that the TV had hockey on. Personally, I didn't like the choices of beer on option for my flight. It was hard to choose 4 that really appealed to me. I will say, though, that Dat Juice Pale Ale was fantastic, and if I were to visit again, I'd easily choose a pint of that. There were certainly lots of styles of beer to choose from, so try it out first and make your own decision. Cider, cocktails, and non alcoholic options are available as well. Food options just appear to be snacks, but I thought I spotted a food truck in the parking lot. Everyone I met was helpful and friendly. While the beers weren't my style, I did enjoy my visit.

Twin Sails Brewing was on my radar long before I got a chance to visit the brewery itself. They are quite well established in pubs and liquor stores across the Lower Mainland. Although availability varies, most of the time, you can find brews on tap that are on the stronger side when it comes to flavor and alcohol content, which is absolutely fine with me. Space Armadillo DIPA and Juice+Cintra IPA are my all-time favorites. Their taproom is of a decent size, but not too big, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Also, there is always some sort of a food truck right in front of the brewery, so food is not a problem.
