AMAZING!
we were definitely surprised. From past experiences, breweries have great drinks and okay food. Typically, burgers, nachos, sandwiches, etc. The Noctem menu surprised us. It's quite small, only a few options, which made us a bit indecisive at first. We were not sure whether to try something new or stick to a good ol' burger with our beers.
We ordered the burger and the osso bucco. What a surprise that was. Everything was cooked so perfectly. Every single component of the meal stood out, yet also blended perfectly with the other components.
The burger: Insanely juicy. The bun was so so fresh, and toasted perfectly. Each bite was soft and crunchy. All the ingredients worked together very well. The salad on the side was so simple yet so delicious. Some greens with cherry tomatoes and a light vinaigrette.
The osso bucco: The meat was falling off the bone. Each bite makes your mouth water. The puree was unbelievable. Vegetables were roasted well. The combination of all the flavours was perfect.
The food was so delicious that we forgot we had gone here for beer.
Beer: We ordered a flight as well as a few pints of one of their lighter beers. Great selection, great taste.
Service: Really amazing. Our waitress was extremely helpful with answering questions, checking in on us, and had no problems with the language difference. We were not bothered while we were eating, and we were not rushed out after we were finished.
Incredible service and delicious food+beer, for such a low cost. Our entire bill was less than $90.
If we ever come back to Quebec City, this will be the first place we come to eat.
Keep up the...
Read moreNoctem Artisans Brasseurs, a unique brewery in Quebec City, offers an atmosphere that's initially standard for taprooms with an industrial touch. But what sets it apart is the playful and quirky mosaic of cat images behind the bar.
The standout, of course, is their exceptional beer. Noctem Artisans Brasseurs is a must-visit for beer nerds in the city. The Catnip Hazy IPA is a must-try. It's a haven for those seeking top-notch craft brews, and every sip reveals the dedication to their craft.
The service here is equally commendable. As out-of-towners, we had questions about the city, and the bartender was a welcoming source of local knowledge, making us feel right at home. It's these extra touches that create a memorable experience.
In a nutshell, Noctem Artisans Brasseurs is a delightful stop for beer enthusiasts. While the taproom ambiance starts off conventionally, the cat mosaic adds character. With great beer, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a spot worth exploring in Quebec City. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it's an experience you won't want to miss. 🍻🐾...
Read moreWhat a great atmosphere! We were seated immediately. Our servers were excellent and very helpful with choosing drinks.
My wife had their cider and I ordered a flight of beer, two of my choosing and two I left up to our server. All our drinks were great and I every too one home in a growler.
For food, we started with the cheese plate which was as beautiful as it was delicious. There were three cheese options accompanied by some picked vegetables and dried kale. After that, my wife had their chili and I ordered the Croziflette. The chili was very good and reminded me of the chili I'm used to back home in Texas. The Croziflette was a new dish to me. It's essentially a French pasta casserole with lardon and onions. It was very tasty but not something to order if you're on a diet. However, it is served with a lightly dressed salad, so it all balances out right?
While it is a little off the beaten path (especially if you're in old town Quebec City) it's worth the Uber ride, particularly if you're looking for something a little...
