It’s not everyday I come across an authentic Irish pub. From the framed kilts that decorate the walls to the floor designs that display an assortment of Celtic symbols; this place is a rare find and totally worth the stop.

The menu has a great selection of items and of course, the bar tender recommended fish and chips. I’ll skip that because the fish is never as fresh as what I’m used to. So with Saint Patrick’s holiday right around the corner what could be more Irish than chipped beef and cabbage?

The chef served up a beautiful dish topped with fresh chives and (I think) Alfalfa sprouts. It was beautiful. The meat had the perfect texture and thickness. The sauce that coated the beef was sweet with a hint of barbecue. The beef was choice cut with no gristle. Well done!

The cabbage was finely chopped and did not over power this dish at all. The gravy was creamy and sweet all at the same time and the first bite of the mashed potatoes was like heaven in my mouth which told me that this dish was a chefs personal favorite and one that he or she is proud to serve.

Perfect lumpy mashed potatoes! My compliments to the chef.

Thank you to the bar tender who promptly dropped my check when the local drug addict started to get out of hand. Thank you to the wait staff who were getting security as I exited the building. Thank you to the front desk that insured my safety.

I understand that you can’t always control those who show up at your bar but value the effort of those who do what they have to to protect the rest of the patrons.

I just wanted a nice meal and a good bar conversation after a long stressful couple of days! It’s a shame that one patron can ruin that for a whole establishment and I hope none of the other patrons give this establishment a negative review because of...

I really wish I had good experiences here. The front staff are nice and the food is delicious. However, something keeps going amiss between when I order and when I receive my food.

I have ordered here twice - once through Skip the Dishes and once by calling ahead. I have a sensitive stomach, food allergies, and other dietary issues so can only have a few toppings on my food, therefore I say "with only __ on top". Both times I have ordered here, I have received everything on top. This implies that the kitchen staff reads the order but doesn't read further into any instructions about it.

The first time this happened was through Skip, so I thought there might have been a misread. The staff was super apologetic and sent me home with extra fries since it took 20minutes to cook my food.

The next time I ordered, it was by calling ahead. I only asked for ketchup on top to make it easier. I confirmed with the staff multiple times that they wrote my order down right. When I got there, the order was wrong so they had to remake it. By the time they gave me the right order, the fries I got were cold and no one seemed willing to admit that they messed up.

I hope that the cooking staff improve, I really do. The food is great and I would love to support the restaurant but it just isn't worth the hassle of waiting 20minutes for new food because you are allergic or sensitive...

My girlfriend and I have gone at least once every year since we started dating five years ago and always had great service. Tonight was quite the disappointment though, had a reservation for 16 people for my birthday, the staff forgot about it and had to squish everyone in. Took half an hour to get 7 Burt Reynolds shots. Everyone’s wings were cold so we sent them back, everyone’s appetite was killed so we didn’t order more food. My girlfriend was brave enough to order another pound and hers came PINK! What the heck! Two of our friends ordered entree’s anyways and then another couple which were part of our party ordered about ten minutes after them, they get their food first and still the food ordered by the first couple never showed up so we told them to cancel that order after waiting over 40 minutes. Talked to the manager and he was apologetic and also took care of the situation by waiving some bills but wow after waiting weeks for this outing we were very disappointed! Most of my friends who joined came for their first time and weren’t impressed..

P.S. I don’t remember our waitresses’s name (shorter, black hair) but she was awesome and very curtious, I made it clear that we had nothing against her about the situation and left her a nice tip to...

Okay, another excellent Celtic pub in Regina. But anyone from out of town should note The TravelLodge is now the Atlas Hotel. A contemporary hotel that leads into a warm, atmospheric old charm pub. Saturday brunch was on so had the Scotch Egg Benny. So damn good! And the deep fried Nutella crepe with Saskatoon berries for dessert, decadent and delicious. The beer and coffee were both excellent. Our waitress was fun, attentive and a great part of the experience. And I have to say, those fireplaces sure made a freezing cold day feel comfortable. I highly recommend this pub for its food, service, atmosphere and drinks. Went back to celebrate St Patrick’s day. And I must say, the pint of Guinness with the Guinness Irish Stew in a Yorkshire Pudding bowl was fantastic! I could have eaten that stew all day long. And the way all the flavours and gravy soaked into the Yorkshire Pudding was extremely satisfying. Also had an Irish Whiskey coffee and Lava Cake for dessert. Yum!

I visit this outstanding place at least once a month, and I'm consistently impressed by the friendly and engaging staff, from the bartender to the servers. One of the highlights is their monthly specials, such as the Christmas dinner they offered in December, which was the best holiday meal I'd had in a long time. The meal was exceptional, with outstanding vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, and tender, moist turkey. My only suggestion would be to add stuffing to the menu. Overall, it was probably the best meal I'd had in a long time. Compliments to the chef and this kitchen staff.
