Our first experience here when the old owner was here was fantastic. Quick friendly service. With great food.

Second experience was during the new owners first day. It was a pleasant experience and the new owner was friendly and engaging. Food took forever and they didn’t have the 8” bun I paid for but no biggie. Food was good and overall experience was ok.

At this point we are super excited that we found a new local gem. Went on the weekend and wow what a difference. Owner was talking to someone behind the counter when we came in. No greeting. No simple “hi there. Be right with you”. We just had to wait for her to finish. She seemed annoyed we came in and disturbed her conversation and as such the entire experience was downhill from there. From the moment we started ordering she was quite dismissive and rude. Then we see the fries go onto the front counter WAY before the sandwiches were done. So checked my watch, 9 minutes passed from the time they were sitting in open air (no heat lamp) before they even entered a bag. Then we were handed our food. Fries were cold as expected. Apparently they can’t time fries and a sandwich to finish at the same time. For a take out order we spent 25 minutes here.

I have been to this restaurant many times and unfortunately the food has always been not the greatest. I had a poutine and a Philly cheese steak. The poutine was disappointing but decided to give it another try and the poutine the last couple times including this time was cold and barley luke warm and the cheese curds are never squeaky which if you know that stuff they should be. The fries in the poutine were very good and fresh will probably just get that over the poutine instead. The Philly cheese steak is usually good but this time there was just too much cheese on it not like normal amount I nominally get and too many vegetables on it. The service though was very friendly and the guy that was serving us was very nice. Just wish it came quicker as took over 25min too get our food and barely anyone in the restaurant. Overall I wouldn’t go out of my way for it but if I am craving this type of...

I was in Philthy Philly's in Oak Ridges on Friday with my son and our experience there was beyond brutal. We were told they were behind and it would be 10 min....55 min later we finally got our order. The food was cold and the portions on the fries were literally not even half full. There was no tomatoes or lettuce cut and when we asked for some they would bring 1 tomato an 1 lettuce and cut just enough for a single customer. I don't understand how you can expect to run a business like this. I would say maybe this was an isolated incident but the last time we were there the owner said the potatoes were old and he would over cook them to make them crispy. We will never be going back. For what you're paying you should get fresh food not "old" and not have to wait an hour...
