Gee! Taste Good — Restaurant in Richmond

I ususlly don't like giving one star to anyone but was highly recommended to come and try. Was told everything was good and tasty and will not disappoint...well after ordering ...waited ...waited ...waited...after an hour finally got my food...ordered everything that was highly recommended ...sorry ...for the long wait it really wasn't anything to rave about...the char Kwai dew noodle was more like just fried soy sauce noodle ...their highly recommended lobster laksa was almost tasteless...very disappointing as I was looking forward to something new and out of this world as some ppl say... and it was only tasty after I put hot sauce in my food... hate to say it but think they took way too many orders and couldn't produce the good product that they were originally famous for....like to give it a try again but won't be anytime soon...lots of parking...somewhat kids friendly...service well can't say much except food court fast food service should not take an hour to get my food and they even forgot some of my food...had to go back to get the rest of them...as some others mentioned....yes the lady is pretty stressful and somewhat rude to a few customers ....sorry but very...

Ordered chef special of lobster laksa. Not only the whole lobster tail but pretty decent ingredients in the bowl. Fish cake slices, tofu puff, fish ball, bean sprouts, and half hard boiled egg. Its interesting there are two different kind of noodle, rice vermicelli and another one i can't make out the name. It was good though. I asked for mild spicy and she include a satey xo type of sauce on the side which is tasty. Soup has a nice coconut milk fragrance with mild curry like flavor. It would rate the soup 8 out of 10 which is pretty good in my book. Lobster is fresh not mushy at all. So its pretty fresh. The only thing I had to take a star off because there were some sand in the lobster. Other than that it was a pretty tasty bowl of laksa. If it's not the best but its up there in terms of taste. Food Poisoning Alert! I’ve been going to this restaurant for many years when it grandpop was making Laksas and it was super busy. Now literally no one was there and prices were $14 for laksa at a food court talk about greed. I got so sick eating this I almost had to go to emergency as I think maybe the owner uses ingredients that expired, picture you can’t really tell maybe because of oil and coconut soup? Literally almost dead eating this as I could taste any problem other than bland taste compared to when grandpa used to cook it.
