OPA! of Greece Richmond Centre — Restaurant in Richmond

Came yesterday around 6 pm and ordered a shrimp skewer with a side of rice. As soon as I sat down and bit into the shrimp I realized it wasn’t cooked properly so I had to spit it out and stop eating completely so I don’t get sick. I then went back to the OPA and told them and instead of refunding me my shrimp AND rice since it was contaminated, they attempted to refund me only for the shrimp. I told them I will not be able to eat the rice either because the raw shrimp touched the rice and the two girls working looked annoyed, had the worst attitude and acted like the refund was going to be coming out of their paycheque. They then kept looking me up and down and speaking a different language while I’m inserting my card into the machine.

Overall such bad service, terrible staff, disgusting food. Please be very cautious when eating here whether you get shrimp, chicken, or anything else really because you could seriously get sick. Also, stand up for yourself if these staff treat you as bad as they did to...

So disappointed in the service and order we got this time. The lady working almost dropped my partners wrap on the ground, but caught it ( it touched her bare skin/wrists and pressed it against her super dirty apron), she refused to remake it, then she tried to turn a separate order of fries into a wrap combo (so placing the wrap and fries together, instead of having a full order of fries she was going to cut it in half) lucky that another worker caught it. As we tried to get the other worker to fix the issue she simply packed it in a bag and ignored the conversation and said have a good day.

Unless the male manager/owner is working, I suggest not giving this place ANY BUSINESS, or else you will get the McDonald's version of opa, and I really did like opa the last time I had it, but that was cuz the guy made it super good. Stopped by this location for Lunch on Saturday July 22 at 2 PM for a quick lunch since I enjoyed the other opa location in ironwood. Ordered the ceaser salad with calamari. Person working up front had zero enthusiasm, zero care, and did not have any customer service skills whatsoever. Felt like I was talking to a robot, even that might be better than the service. I told myself as long as the foods good, Ill be fine. I got my food, and I got half the portion of salad that I did at ironwood. The calamari was a normal portion. I had no bacon bits on my salad, unlike the ironwood location, which I thought was included.. Calamari tasted stale. Salad was normal but had half the portions.
