Update:

We have stopped going there since the vaping/e-cigarette rules were not being enforced and countless players were vaping openly, despite signs. It became difficult for us since some of us have allergies. For those who don’t mind it, it’s a great place to play. But we couldn’t stand that aspect of it unfortunately. Wishing the establishment all the best in the future 💜

Old review:

Pros: -many tables; decent condition (they are working harder than before to maintain the table quality and it shows) -clean venue relative to most -upbeat atmosphere and sufficient/various seating -respectful, peaceful and non-rowdy (never saw anything crazy there) -variety of players from casual to league level -parking available -attentive and kind staff members -bubble tea -darts

Cons: -tables don't always have racks/not always stocked, so might have to ask the staff (no huge deal, in the end) -sometimes can get pricey if it goes over time by a bit, so watch your time carefully and be punctual. -bathrooms are average at best, but still not as bad as the ones you'd find in a bar -a few times, hours of operation were not reliable; people commuting to use their hall then leaving. No notice. My advice, especially if trying to come early, call ahead.

Overall score: 4*. Good...

We've been to this place twice now. Once during the day, and one time in the evening when it's a bit busier. They have clean facilities, lots of table availability, take care of their tables and normally we would come back to a place like this; HOWEVER, on the evening we visited, a crazy person (not paying customer) kept coming into the establishment with a lit cigarette going from table to table threatening patrons.

The fact that he came in and did this isn't their fault, but they refused to call the cops when asked to by customers. The man in question threatened physical assault on several people and made racist remarks while staff just slumped back in their chairs and watched. They claimed that the cops couldn't do anything even if they did come (which is incredibly false). The safety of customers is the responsibility of the business, one which they didn't take very seriously.

Hard to support the business having...

As a complete beginner, I visited this place once in search of a new hobby and some stress relief. The owner noticed me playing by myself and showed me the key principles of the game; he even took the time to play a few teaching rounds with me. After speaking with the owner, one can see that he really loves darts and pool as a sport. This is reflected by his continuous addition of features and services to the pool hall (new pool tables, tournaments and practice rates). I haven't been to other pool bars, but I can't imagine any reason to attend another place after already...
