It’s known in the Chinese community for its fresh seafood because they get it right off the boats and no when the fisherman come in and then go to the docs to get it. They have swimming lobster and crab and fish in the tanks inside the restaurant. The place is in the basement of a building and looks like an old school Chinese hole on the wall restaurant. We sample the garlic and ginger lobster stirfry with rice cake as well as two versions of their prepared fish, one steamed and one with black bean sauce, then also there fresh greens, which were steamed and then also, their baby clams which were stirfried in black bean sauce as well. Overall, the food was passable, and I do think that the restaurant tries to be as authentic as possible, despite indicating that their seafood comes straight from the docks, somehow it did not seem so fresh on the day we tried it.
