I recently had the pleasure of visiting BarBurrito at 248 Northern Ave E, and I must say, it's one of the top burrito spots in town! From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped me navigate the menu with ease.
I decided to try the mild chicken and falafel burritos with all the toppings, and they were fantastic. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, making each bite a delight. The portion size was generous, leaving me completely satisfied.
What really impressed me was the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. Each component of the burrito was carefully prepared, reflecting the pride they take in their food. I also loved their wide selection of salsas, which allowed me to customize my burrito to suit my taste.
The prices are quite reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. The quick service was another plus, making it a perfect spot for a lunch break or a casual dinner.

Read moreI just had a pretty frustrating experience with my order through SkipTheDishes and Barburrito. I placed my order at 8:11 PM and didn't receive it until 9:43 PM. For over an hour and a half, the tracking sat at “11 minutes away” — no updates, no real communication.
To make matters worse, SkipTheDishes offered me only a $7 refund on a $70 order for all that waiting. I’m sorry, but that doesn’t cut it. Time matters too.
That said, I want to be very clear — this is NOT the driver’s fault, nor do I blame the Barburrito staff member who finally handed off my order. They were both respectful, patient, and doing their best under pressure.
This is an issue of poor staffing and broken systems. It’s not fair for one staff member to be left handling everything during a rush, or for a lone driver to bear the brunt of customer frustration when the real problem is behind the scenes.
Barburrito — if you’re overwhelmed, please address your staffing needs. Skip — your compensation policies need work, and your communication needs to step up too.
Respect your team. Respect your customers. And for goodness’ sake — respect...
Read moreI'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the Bar Burrito location on Great Northern Road in Sault Ste. Marie. Specifically, I've encountered issues with the employees' refusal to provide side falafel, a service that is readily available at other Bar Burrito locations within the city. This inconsistency is compounded by the employees' rude demeanor and unwillingness to accommodate my request, even when I've offered to pay for the falafel separately. Their rigid stance against selling just falafel as a side is perplexing and frustrating. It creates a stark contrast to the positive experiences I've had at other Bar Burrito establishments, where flexibility and customer satisfaction seem to be prioritized. I hope that this issue can be addressed, and that the employees at the Great Northern Road location will be trained to provide a more consistent and...
