Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

Yesterday may 31st -Absolutely horrible. Order our meal over 84$ . Got our food in 15 mins. Which is fine but they said butterfly shrimp taking longer, and they wilk bring to table. MY whole family finished their meals and I finished my sides I was supposed to have with my shrimp. It never came after waiting 45 mins. Husband went to say " hey waiting for our shrimp never came just will do a refund. The girl working said no no just take 2 mins it's fine. Well if it took 2 mins we would've had it. Anyways. They refunded us. The manager wasn't right in the head I think. Since we ate our meal with sides she charged for the sides but over 5 $ with tax for the 2 sides ? ? Potatoes and mac . But it was a combo for 15$. If it was so hard to do juat refund the d*mn combo no? She Ended up refunding us 3.20$ for the shrimp??? If I would've known I can get butterfly shrimp that cheap I would've bought just that. Made zero sense. 12 buck for 2 sides ?! Since when ? She Also refunded the whole order with cash at first then took it back then gave 3.20$? She looked frazzled and out of it. What is this place? Are you ok? Horrible horrible service. They also didn't give back the receipt and the onion rings are crap. Don't order them. Rude and incompetent manager. Cashier tried but not hard enough. Don't...

I love the convenience of having a Popeye’s location so close to my work, or so I thought... I gave the Emerald Dr location a shot because of the drive-thru, it’s perfect for my condensed lunch break to make a quick commute for something to eat. The first visit there I ordered a 3 piece tender platter with fries, gravy and received what I asked for, this week on Monday I thought to give Popeye’s another shot and this time after ordering the same thing as last time I was quick to find after getting to work I received the wrong order, I was given a 2 piece regular platter, not tenders like I asked for, with fries, gravy and one biscuit. Today I decided to give it another try even though my experience earlier in the week wasn’t a favourable one, I had tried to order the same thing as the first time, and was surprised to find out my order was wrong once again, and it was even different than the last mistake they made as well. This time I received a 3 piece regular platter, with fries, gravy and two biscuits this time. I think this is the last time I’ll try the Emerald Dr location for a lunch break, or even the local location near me on the Southside, it’s unfortunate because the food quality and taste is there but the level of staffing and...

Worst experience and service at this location ever! Went around 3pm (was not busy at all) and were told the chicken would be a 10-15 minute wait, we ended up waiting 40 minutes for some below average chicken and poutine. We were not offered anything while we waited and they kept saying 5 minutes and 5 minutes kept turning longer. When we finally got our food the woman who handed it to us was very rude. We never stated we were doing takeout but they put our food in a takeout bag (no plates, forks, napkins) nothing! We sat down and had to repeatedly get up to ask for these items. We ended up eating our chicken on napkins on a dirty table as every table in the restaurant was dirty and not wiped. There was no straws or anything stalked by the drink fountain so we also had to ask for those items as well. I will absolutely not be returning to Popeyes with this experience and I urge you not to visit this location unless you have absolutely nowhere to be for over an hour. May as well have gone somewhere nice for the price anyway. Would have gotten a lot better...
