Bozzini’s possibly has the best butter chicken pizza in the lower mainland so far…and I’ve had a lot of butter chicken pizzas! 🥘🍕🇮🇳 This restaurant is quite unique because it offers multiple dishes from multiple countries, such as Italian, Greek, Indian and American - in addition they also have a buffet during lunch time on specific days which I have yet to try. So far I’ve only had their tortellini pasta and butter chicken pizza and they were pretty amazing! The tortellini pasta I ordered was size small and it was quite filling and big for a small which is great. I also opted for baked with cheese option for a dollar extra. My friends ordered meat lasagnas and they said the amount of meat was quite generous. Honestly though the star of the night was the pizza. It was delicious with a good amount of butter chicken sauce and chicken. I would definitely come back here mostly to try out the other pizzas. There’s plenty of parking here as well and lots of seating even on a Friday night. The restaurant interior was cozy and it felt like I was in an old Italian gangster movie because the decor was a bit outdated and they had the godfather theme music playing while we were eating. Our server was friendly and attentive and provided options for food/drinks. Overall this is a nice cozy restaurant in Surrey offering multiple dishes and currently has the #1 butter chicken pizza (my opinion) in the lower mainland!!

They advertise pasta in a meat tomato sauce with some baked cheese on top as "lasagna". I was expecting a layered lasagna with tomato sauce, ricotta cheese and baked cheese on top. What I got was just noodles in meat sauce. I brought it up with our server at the end of our meal that what they serve isn't lasagna. She said that she hears that a lot from customers who order the "lasagna" that its not a layered traditional lasagna and its more of a "lazy lasagna" but she'll let the kitchen know. A different server came to our table to give us our bill and she said that she was sorry to hear that we were not happy about the lasagna and SHE ALSO said that she hears that complaint from a lot of customers and has told the owner but they refuse to change it because "it sells well in their catering business." All that being said, the food was okay. It wasn't anything special. It tasted about the same as jarred tomato sauce you'd get from the grocery store. If you go here and want the "lasagna", save yourself $2 price difference by ordering the spaghetti with meat sauce because it's the same thing, just different noodles. Also, my partner ordered the chicken parmesan with fettuccine alfredo and it was essentially soup. But he said the chicken was decent.

If you're seeking authentic Greek or Italian cuisine, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It seems that most of their dishes are influenced by East Indian flavors, which I personally enjoyed. I tried the vegetarian lasagna before, which was simply lasagna noodles with a cream sauce—my Indian friend informed me it was actually butter chicken sauce. On this visit, I opted for the seafood fettuccine while my friend ordered the chicken souvlaki. Unfortunately, the seafood in the fettuccine was of poor quality, featuring the same tiny, cheap shrimp often found in inexpensive Chinese seafood fried rice, which was disappointing. The garlic toast was nearly soggy. However, the chicken souvlaki was tasty. Despite my reservations about the dish I chose, the service was excellent. The staff was very attentive and kind.

We had a party of 6. In the past we have had larger groups and have never had the poor service that we experienced on Friday night or been charged "service fees". 1 - We were asked if we wanted drinks. The person left and someone else had to come and take our drink orders. There was quite a delay between the first and second person considering there were 4-5 people behind the till. 2 - We had to wait for another person took our orders. 3 - When the meals were delivered the waitress did not know what anyone ordered. For a party of 6 this should not have happened and is not acceptable. 4- I was very specific about how I wanted my ceaser salad done (no green peppers or onions), but when delivered it was full of green peppers and onions. I sent it back. The waitress returned (not sure which one) with my dinner explaining that they re-plated my dinner and the salad was in a separate bowl. This time they forgot the tzatziki sauce. I had to wave down another waitress because the 4-5 waitresses were chatting behind the till again. 5 - The servings were smaller than in the past and not worth the cost. 6 - When we got our separate bills I noticed there was a service charge, which I inquired about. I asked if this was a tip and the waitress was vague about what it was for. I objected to being charged a tip for a small party but she stated that there was a notice in the front that indicated parties of six would be charged a service charge. I admit I did not see this notice. In the past we have had larger parties and have never been charged any service charges. The waitress dismissed my objections and continued to get the meals paid for. 7 - Out of all six diners only one paid another tip of 22% on top of the already charged "service charge" of 20%. We all felt that our friend was scammed by the waitress who should have let our friend know that a 20% tip had already been applied. She gladly took a 42% tip without saying another word. The rest of our party understood that our friend was scammed and did not leave any additional tips. Considering the poor service I would not have left a tip at all although I usually tip at least 15%.

In the future: 1 - If they were in training they should have had tags on and trained separately at a quieter time. 2 - In the past I have only had one waitress and will insist on it in the future. 3 - The portions have been reduced dramatically yet the prices have gone up. This should be rectified. 4 - When a customer has a complaint it should be acknowledged not dismissed. 5 - I would not consider any of these waitress to work at this job. They were all clueless. 6 - I will return because the pizza is fabulous, but will be very critical of the service and will not hesitate to file a complaint immediately in person to the owner. I did not last night because it a friend's birthday dinner and our friend who paid a 42% tip felt embarrassed and felt she had to defend herself to our group for paying double tip, even after it was pointed out.

If this business is under new management they have a lot to learn about...

I don't even know where to begin because the from the time of booking to the time we left we had an amazing experience with this Restaurant. When it came to booking the Restaurant was available and so accomodating for our large group which was initially booked for 44ppl and then went down to 25ppl due to the snowy weather. I had kept the Restaurant up to date and confirming the number of people attending as we were celebrating a Birthday and Wedding Anniversary. They had set us up on one side of the room with booster/high chairs ready for our guests that had little ones, as well as water was ready each time our guests arrived. Now onto food which was so mouth watering. The appetizers, which were delicious and the Entrees were such large portions and for the price was well worth it as we even had leftovers to take home since the portions were so big. Special Cocktail Drinks from Alcoholic Bevarages to Non-Alcoholic were delicious also. After dinner both of our cakea came out which our wonderful server Sue had brought out singing Happy Birthday and Happy wedding Anniversary to us. All I can say is our day was a memorable one by the staff at the restaurant. The owner was so accomodating, the kitchen staff have magic in there hands because all our guests said the food was very tasty, flavourful and worth every penny. Now onto service which i can only say was the best experience I've had at any Restaurant in a very long time. All I want to say is Thank you to the Owner and Staff at Bozzinis for such an amazing experience and making my Birthday and our Wedding Anniversary such a memorable one. So all the things that we had ordered: Fish Pakora with Chutney Calamari Wings (Greek, BBQ, Hot) Garlic Prawns Cheese Tortelini Pasta Seafood Lasanga Spaghetti & Meatballs Lamb Curry meal Pasta & Ribs Roast Lamb meal so yummy Salmon meal Souvlaki both Chicken/Lamb Mango margarita Long insland Iced Tea Ceasars Virgin Pina coladas so yummy and there were few others our group ordered which I can not remember but everything was phenomenal. We will definitely be back again as I've been here many times before with just my family or just my husband and always ordered the same thing as its so good. However this time was a large group and a lot of things we had ordered and tried and food was great along with service. Thank...

Long winded but hopefully honest and helpful!

I want to start out by saying I've ordered from this restaurant for years, as it offers several flavourful and well portioned plates. I had been recommended by a colleague who grew up in the area. Its a staple of the community. They offer solid Greek, Indian and decent Italian dishes.

Now for the recent issues.I started treating myself to the Wednesday buffet. Value that can't be beat. I love buffets as a treat. Bozzini's is owned by an Indo-Canadian business man who busts his tail. Recently Ive experienced hair in my butter chicken, leather like bar-b-que chicken and actions from server Shawna M, that absolutely baffle me.

My fiancé and I went in tonite as we desperately needed a night out, all be it brief we though Bozzini's would be our pick. I ordered the lamb shoulder which was good but semi flavourless. Large portion for a large price. Not a problem because well cook lamb is a big deal to me. My fiancé got garlic prawns and a six ounce steak. The prawns were fresh and the garlic complimented them. The steak was ordered rare. It came blue. It also had a huge tendon down one side and a gristle or tendon going through the other side of the steak. The steak should've been sent back, now that I reflect.

What fuelled me to type this review and send this review to the owner is the "dear in headlights" blank stare that I got from our server Shawna M. I Explained the inadequate cut of the steak. She said "sorry to hear that" and refused to remedy the complaint.

As someone with customer service background and management experience in a customer service role this is appalling to me. She needed to make it right. Retain the value repeat customer. She failed. Failed to comp the plate or at least discount the meal.

Honestly, I will be refraining from eating here in the future. The venue isn't going anywhere positive soon. I will copy this and mail it to the owner as I would want to know how I could improved if I was in his position.

Combine the revolution of servers, recent degradation of quality and the failure to make the mistake into a positive, Ill cook at home.

If the owner or management reached out to me, Id be open...
