Because this sweet shop has become popular in the community, the owner/operator these days seems to have a don't care attitude towards most of the customers - even towards those who want to order in bulk (which I guess is very important for every business, right !?). While all the employees have very good attitude, its the owner/operator who has an attitude issue per my experience. And his this very attitude made me write this review with certain negativity. I ordered bulk of sweet items from this shop very recently for a family gathering, and while most of them were no doubt good and made ready/available on time, one item namely 'Moongi Halwa' (which was an expensive item as well from the whole bill) was not prepared well at all. There was actually no Moongi in it, and it tasted more like a 'sooji halwa' instead. I regret spending money on this one item, as I would have got a better taste on that if I would have purchased a frozen moongi halwa from other top brands like Brar or Nanak from a local grocery store. Because I wanted a fresh preparation of that dish, I choose to go for it from this sweet shop instead of frozen, but all in vain.. I got a crappy whole different thing. Such a waste of money for this one item, don't buy this...

This needs to be brought to the attention of the public and potential customers in the future. I experienced a customer getting extremely poorly treated waiting patiently for food. As I too was waiting for my food I priorly ordered 45 mins before this gentlemen whom received the poor treatment.I was told it would take 10-15 minutes but it took 45 minutes. Not good at all. Girls at the front are very poorly trained in customer service or there may be an understaffing problem.The owner being in his position did not exercise good manners. I did not think someone in the ownership position would practice such unacceptable behaviour. He very poorly treated his customer by using violent verbal language causing the argument to get very accelerated, I believed it could've gotten very physical soon. So please if your food is taking longer than anticipated and you are treated poorly make it known. The staff and most of all owner need to learn how to accommodate others time, give more accurate times for food to be done and most of all How to speak with manners !!!! I was terrified with seeing this and left right away and was unhappy with my service too,...

Under the current COVID circumstances, a wedding in our family was cancelled. We had no choice but to do it at home, which is 120 KMs, 1 hour and 40 minutes away from Surrey.

We made many phone calls to numerous Indian caterers, but were disappointed with the lack of commitment. Caterers would promise a followup, but did not do so, because of our location.

Fortunately, Maharaja Catering was the only Indian catering company to shine through and help us. I highly recommend their services.
