Umm!! Just coming from Restaurant and I am so disappointed because the of the dishonest behaviour of the guy on the front desk other staff members are nice but he is not honest at all. I have ordered two Royal Faluda’s but then I replaced one with Royal Kulfi Faluda. Firstly we received Royal Kulfi Faluda then we received Bombay Grilled Sandwich. Without any doubt they are delicious. But then they gave us two Royal Pan Faluda’s. We pointed out that we have replaced it and need only one. One of the staff members said that if you wanna keep it then you can we are not going to charge you for that because we will throw it away and it’s gonna be waste. So it’s better to keep it than wasting. So we kept it. Again other girl came and said that we are not going to charge so don’t worry. When I was paying out it is so crowded and then my turn came. Everything was okay the guy was not charging anything for that extra Royal Faluda but then it’s my turn to tap he suddenly added the value for that one. Total amount including taxes was 42$ and some cents and after adding it, that rose to more than 50$. Here I want to clarify that if I am paying 42$ it’s not a big deal to pay few dollars extra if you are eating. But the thing that pinched me up is the dishonest behaviour of the front desk person. I have no issue to pay but this is not a good customer service. You are saying something else and doing totally opposite. So it is advised to everyone if something like this happens like wrong order than please check before paying. I don’t want to make a drama in the restaurant because it’s so busy and people are waiting. If you see something say something. As I liked their food and every time I go there but this was so ridiculous experience I had. Be honest with...
Read moreIt’s lengthy review but real behaviour of this people, read it whole for real review. We had a baby shower event and they called us to Burnaby location to discuss and provided dal to taste. We liked that sample dal and finalized order. On event the dal was total water and the whole waste. Nothing useful and did throw it away. When we called for feedback, they totally denied to accept and on the other end they were blaming that we are telling wrong and should have called during the event itself. Who would have time to call them to replace rather than enjoying the event. They told that they don’t care if we get order again or not and they have many customers. They say this is the business and they do it this way. Like it or not this is what it is. Their partner Milanbhai also told that this dal is really not worth to pay. Really?? They call that this is gujarati dal that I can’t understand. I am by born gujarati and they teach me what the dal look and taste like.
With compared to their 5 employees who taste it before delivery 50 people who tried it in the event are wrong and no education about how it taste. Seriously 😳
I Recommend to teach them how business runs. Else someone else will face same some day. Hope they realize their mistake and correct it. Thanks...
Read moreI walked into the paan shop expecting a casual post-meal mouth freshener. What I got instead was a full-blown Bollywood experience in my mouth.
The paan guy (who I now refer to as the Leaf Whisperer) asked me if I wanted “Meetha” or “Saada.” I panicked and said, “Surprise me.” Bad idea. Or…best idea?
He slapped that betel leaf down like he was dealing cards at a Vegas table. Cashews, tutti-frutti, coconut, syrup, some mystery pink goo—he stacked it all like a Jenga tower, folded it like origami, and shoved it into my mouth with the confidence of a man who’s done this a thousand times. And then said, “Don’t chew. Just feel.”
Friends, I felt. I transcended.
There was sweetness, crunch, a hint of mint, a questionable clove, and then—BAM!—a sudden explosion of rose essence so intense I momentarily astral projected to a Mughal garden.
10 minutes later, I was smiling uncontrollably, high on fennel seeds and joy, with red spit like a vampire who just got back from brunch.
Would I do it again?...
