Horrible experience at this location. I visited this location on Monday November 21st 2022 at 08:35 PM and they refused to provide me regular coffee (pike place) and they give me option of one kind of coffee dark roast based on availability. I’m not sure if Starbucks has lowered their standards or this location staff are not up to standards. I requested if possible to brew a pot of pike place and I was turned down. I double checked with staff if it’s Starbucks policy to stop making or refusing customers requests 25 minutes before closing and I did not get a clarification. I hate to complain but this is unacceptable and has repeated in the past. Some days the store closes early or lock up 15 minutes prior to hours listed online/ location google page. I’ve been a regular customer at this location for years and witnessed decline in customer service. some employees need some training and coaching to private better services.

I watched as they continued preparing orders for customers who had arrived after me. When I finally asked for a refund, there was no real apology or effort to correct the mistake rather just a quick refund and a dismissive attitude. Read moreCoffee, food, atmosphere are first class. This time it's about staff's professional approach in handling challenging situation. A woman customer was very angry yelling and gesticulating for no apparent reason. Prajakta and Harpret quietly and politely tried to calm her down. They at the same time reassured all customers that even though it's not a pleasant situation it's under control and the help is coming. When security patrol came they faced the same challenge of loud voice and angry gestures but finally the woman left.
