Asian Gourmet — Restaurant in Toronto

Up until my last experience, this place was a 5 for me. Outstanding bourbon chicken, and the rice is amazing. Now to the problem. Every time I go there I buy 20-30 dollars worth of food (1 plate for my mom, 2 for me), They are familiar with my face, must have been there 100+ times in 2018. I bought 2 plates a couple months ago and asked to try out a chicken wing (they are cheap, figured if I liked it, I'd buy a dozen). The woman had the nerve not only to tell me no, but tried to offer me a minuscule piece of bourbon chicken on a toothpick. I was so disgusted that I haven't been back since. If you know me, and I pay 20-30, and I'm there all the time, why throw it all away for a 40 cent wing? I stalled on this review, but I decided to write it now....

The value of food you get here is great, 14$ for a 3 item option is phenomenal. And the portion is huge, You could feed 2+ ppl if you really wanted to.

The customer service was really nice, the people working behind the counter were great when ordering very courteous, and the food's tasted good for takeout. I go here every other day for lunch as its really economical.

Update June 27th 2024: Food was still amazing and prices are very affordable. 2 years ago 3 item meal was 14 now its 14.99$. Great place for chinese food and...

July 25th, 2024. Sadly they have yet again are being greedy. First prices were raised and now a decent combo meal is unaffordable. And now they are serving in new SMALLER containers while charging the SAME price for the meals. Terrible!

The new take out container has SHRUNK. Ordered one meat and noodles combo and immediately after she handed me the container I realized that it is now smaller in size. So once again customers are being scammed. Why are restaurants becoming more greedy and greedier.
