DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! There are better bubble tea in this area. I’ve been ordering from this place for more than a year, and visited weekly. Now I suggest everyone DO NOT order bubble tea from Boba Boy, because they don’t make the beverage as you ordered: for the same order, sometimes you get what you ordered, sometimes way sweeter than it should be or add more than enough ice chips. Their one of cashier girls is very rude and talking behind customers, didn’t make your tea as you ordered.
I had read the reply from the owner, so interesting, even the label showed the bubble tea I had ordered. With this kind of owner, no wonder your employees don’t know how to make the proper bubble tea and rude to the customers. Your cashier girl made a big scene of arguing with me when I pointed out her mistake, even she knew I ordered less sugar less ice naigai - the mousse, you could check your camera to see which I pointed. You as the owner didn’t step in and walked away from her, I didn’t ask for money or make trouble to you, stop your victim play. I paid the bubble tea I ordered, you could’ve looked up the history. I didn’t even taste the tea at all because “this doesn’t look like what I had ordered”. Better wisely hire someone next time, because your cashier calls white black. To be fair, the other cashier girl...
Read moreStopped in for Bubble Tea and Pad Thai after a TTC short turn. The little shop looks nice, with all the possible tools and supplies needed for making all kinds of drinks, and the staff are nice. I got 2 iced black sugar tapioca milk tea, It was good, but I wouldn't say it's any better or worse than any other shop I've gotten the same order in. Apparently they make their own boba which I suppose is cool, but I didn't really notice anything different other than they were softer than premade pearls.
As far as bubble tea goes, it's good with many different options, however the price is crazy! I ordered via Google, and it ended up being $28 for 2 regular sized drinks! Looking back at my reciept I have no idea how an iced black sugar tapioca milk tea ($5.50) with brown sugar boba added ($1.00) comes to $12.50. The photo showed a tall bottle, and I thought it was extra because it came with the special bottle, but I got regular cups. I didn't realize at the time and should...
Read moreNew bubble tea place, its one of the few ones here at gerrad and broadview The environment is neat and clean. With large glass windows and a mordern interior. With a great variety of drinks, and it has coffee, which I don't see many bubble tra places carry so that is a plus. They also offer some egg waffles, desserts( macaroon b cakesb tartsl and ice creams. So its a good place for freinds, and it's family friendly. The store also has vietnam food(pho) which haven't opened at tge time when I visited but I am looking forward to try it. I would say this bubble tea place is going for a innovation bar concept, with reusable bottles available for purchase. I tried their drinks and in general it is a bit too sweet, but it is definitely adjustable upon request. Overall a great experience with the customer service...
