I order the Original Chicken Sandwich combo almost four times a week at this location and usually dine in. I recently moved to this area about two months ago, and this has become my regular spot since I enjoy eating and studying here.
However, I’ve noticed a consistent issue: the chicken in the sandwich is never fresh. It looks dry, the coating is flaky and falling off, it isn’t hot, and the taste is disappointing. Every time I visit, I have to remind the staff that I don’t want a sandwich made with chicken that has been sitting there for hours or possibly since the morning. Even the cashier responded “it’s because we’ve already done a whole badge sitting there”. It’s clear they are trying to avoid food waste, but this comes at the expense of quality and customer satisfaction. Customers spend their money expecting fresh, high-quality food, not cold, dry tasteless tasteless.
Today, I specifically asked the cashier to ensure my sandwich was made fresh. She relayed the request to the kitchen staff, but I overheard them whispering. Despite waiting for a “fresh” sandwich, I received the same old chicken that had likely been refried to appear new. This is unacceptable. If this happens again, I will not hesitate to demand my money back. Customers deserve better than subpar food that could potentially make them sick.
I am not someone who likes to cause a scene, but I feel like my politeness is being taken advantage of. It seems the staff only respond properly to customers who are more assertive, and if that’s what it takes, I am prepared to escalate.
I genuinely enjoy Burger King, which is why this experience bothers me so much. Unless things improve, I will continue to give this location a...

Used mobile order, got the order email at 7:08pm. Got my shoes/coat on, and walked over. Got there about 7:20pm. 12 minutes. Left the store about 7:35 with my food. It took them nearly 30 MINUTES to get my food. Even though I was a mobile order, there were giving the Skip/Door/Uber orders that came in AFTER me, their food first.
Over the last 2 years, this store has grown worse in the customer service department... their accessibility doors are never on, or are broken.
Time for Burger King to fire everyone there, and put competent staff in this location. On or about March 25, 2020, this restaurant, just days before cheques came out for pensions, Social Assistance, and Disability and those getting funds from their Indigenous Bands, this store closed its indoor dining room. (It had already closed the sit down, due to CoViD 19, which is understandable.)
HOWEVER they failed to implement the "Curbside Pickup" that Burger King now offers, and instead decided to shut out the poorest members of this community... they are right down the road from Crescent Town, and Byng Towers - both areas are chalk full of under privileged people.
I spoke to the BK Head Office, and several other Toronto BK's on April 16th, and all other stores I talked to still allowed Take Out from the counter, and/or had curbside, and the HQ said they should be doing a curb side pickup.
Manager at the store was rude when I called her, not once, but twice...
Read moreI recently visited the Burger King location and was appalled by the absolute lack of cleanliness and hygiene. The entire restaurant was in a state of disarray, with trash and spills everywhere.
The tables were sticky and dirty, with ketchup and straw wrappers scattered all over. The floor was littered with debris, and the chairs were not even arranged properly. It was clear that the staff was severely understaffed, with only three employees struggling to handle a crowd of over 50 people.
The most shocking aspect was the complete disregard for hygiene. There was no one cleaning or sanitizing the tables, floors, or equipment. The staff seemed overwhelmed, taking orders and preparing food without any attention to the filthy surroundings.
Furthermore, I was taken aback by the large number of homeless individuals occupying the restaurant. While I empathize with those in need, it was clear that the restaurant had become a de facto shelter, with many individuals sleeping, loitering, or storing their belongings on the premises. This created an uncomfortable and unsanitary environment for paying customers.
I have never had such a bad experience at a fast-food restaurant. The lack of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall management was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this location to anyone.
Burger King, please take immediate action to address these issues and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for...
