Was looking for a new spot for samosa. I normally go to Moti Mahal on gerrard Street. But it's always super busy. Which is good for them. So I thought I'll give this mama and papa shop a try. I wasn't disappointed. The service was great. The lady serving me was sweet. There was not a lot of dining space, but there was a table with chairs where you could eat and dash if you really wanted to. I ordered 2 vegetarian samosa for $1.50 each and 1 chicken samosa for$ 1.99. They're were filling, and the spices were just wanted, I would want my samosa to taste spicy. If you're not a fan of spicy, then the vegetarian samosa isn't for you. But definitely give it try. They had burger and fries, poutine, and chicken biryani for a good price for $9.99 with pop. That's a good deal for nowadays when you're eating out. I think i try that's next time. I'm too lazy to cook.

Follow @bredgyeats on IG for more food posts! After a long day at school, I can count on this chicken samosa for a pick-me-up snack. The exterior plays a satisfying, crispy tune as I bite down, without being too greasy at all. The inside is a juicy combination of ground chicken, onions, potatoes, cumin and a fragrant melody of Indian spices.

When they said freshly fried they really meant it! These samosas were fried right after I ordered, will definitely be coming back to try their other foods. Recommend bringing cash with you.

Not sure if they are under new management, but in the last couple of months they have changed their samosas significantly. The veggie samosas are much improved (in my opinion) - now quite spicy and flavourful. However, the chicken samosas now seem to be heated-up frozen samosas from the grocery store. The texture of the pastry is totally different (it’s more like spanakopita than what they used to be like) and overall they are small and disappointing. Would recommend the veggie samosas, would not recommend the chicken. Love this place though, so...

If you're looking for a cozy spot with delicious food and warm vibes, this is it! The chai here is hands down the best I've had — rich, flavourful, and made with love. Their samosas and chaat hit the spot every time, and don’t even get me started on the pistachio kulfi... absolutely amazing! The owners are so kind and welcoming — they genuinely care about every customer and make you feel at home. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or want to chill with a book and some good food, I highly recommend this place. It’s a...
