I am so disappointed because I want so badly to give this little cafe a 5-star review, because the baked goods and bubble tea are my absolute favourite and most flavourful of any cafes and bubble tea shops in the city. However, as a remote worker who lives just out of walking distance to Teako, I would say I try to place a regular-sized order via Uber Eats multiple times per week, during their regular business hours, and about 85% of the time they cancel my order due to “technical issues”. I’ve tested this and tried ordering in the morning, afternoon, mid-day, or sometimes even pre-ordering the night before… it simply doesn’t make a difference - my Uber order gets most likely cancelled. In the rare occasion my order DOES get fulfilled, I rejoice with happiness because it’s always delicious! Which makes me want to return and continue to give them my business - so this is the dilemma and where I am torn at not leaving a higher review. But I simply don’t understand - if you cannot fulfill regular mobile orders (as this is clearly a recurring problem this restaurant has had for quite some time now), a suggestion would be to not offer your services on mobile delivery apps altogether. It’s very misleading and disappointing to your mobile customers who simply want to enjoy your lovely food and drinks but don’t live in the area. No hate here, I truly love your cafe… but this Uber Eats thing is beyond...

Small bubbletea shop that also serves pastries and Filipino meals.

Their standout offering, of course, is the bubbletea. The tea is loose-leaf, so is elevated from the typical bubbletea. But it's the tapioca that really makes the drink shine with how fresh and bouncy they are.

For a tea shop, this place also has really good food. Tried the scones and they were super buttery, very flavourful, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like all great scones. We also got some Filipino meals - the lechon kawali and lumpia super crispy, the bangsilog had a good portion size for the price, and the halo-halo was refreshing.

Place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of small tables to sit 4. Service is friendly. Tea offerings are extensive....

Went in to get some loose leaf tea for a friend and left with three little sample packets for myself and a blueberry scone.

The woman behind the counter was as sweet as their baked goods and very helpful in making my tea selection.

I got two half bags of tea, which she topped with a little extra because they were gifts, and she offered me the samples free of charge so I can try some too! Total with the scone was just over $35.

I’ll definitely be back for some savoury food soon, the lumpia and adobo chicken especially caught my attention.

Clean, cozy vibe place with a couple tables inside and out. And AC! A great spot for a...

Had a relaxing stay at TEAKO. The owner is super warm and hospitable, and the cafe is cozy and inviting. I had an Earl Grey hot chocolate, which was perfect, not too sweet. Also an order of lumpia. The owner gave me a choice of vinegar or sweet plum sauce, and I went with the vinegar. Lumpia was freshly cooked and piping hot. There are only 3 tables, which was fine at the time because it was only me, and not at peak hours. They have lots of savoury Filipino meal options in addition to the treats and drinks. There was an amazing looking ube cookie that might be for next time I'm in the area.
