Went here for the first time and it’ll be my last. Sat at the bar and the male bartender with the bun served me and my party. It seems he either didn’t want to be there or didn’t want to serve us. Very negative energy. Got food and drinks and didn’t bother to provide side plates, cutlery and napkins like other places. That wasn’t the issue, I asked for napkin and he gave me a look like I shouldnt be asking for napkin. He stood there and stared with an awkward pause and walked away. I let it go and the guy just disappeared. We wanted to order more food and drinks but clearly we were being served. Mind you the place was dead. If it was busy I understand. The guy came back eventually and thought we’d finally get served but no. He ignored us didn’t check in didn’t ask if we needed anything or if we wanted to order more food. Finally another guy came and asked if we’re okay and we said we were gonna order more food but no one came around and we’ll just get the bill. And then someone else came to cash us out while the same bartender stared from the other end of the bar not doing anything. Just there. It’s either he sucked at his job, didn’t want to be there or he’s racist. Anyways this place left a bad taste in my mouth.
Food was okay but very gamey for the meat and some of the oysters had a fishy taste.
Drinks was watered down for the cocktails so get canned or bottles if your going to visit.
This is my personal experience so please give it a try just don’t expect much specially with the bartender service.
The place seemed nice but the more you look around you see a lot of issues. Just look up when you walk in. They also bring the garbage out through the dining room which is not what you want to look at when you’re dinning. You’d think it’s a high end establishment but it’s just a hole in the wall with glitz and glimmer. If you’re expecting, minimum, earls like service, don’t. You’d be disappointed. Maybe cafeteria service or food...
Read moreI would give a -10, if possible. I have never had a more awful experience and be spoken to in such a condescending manner.
We sat down after a show, just before 10 pm (party of 5). Our server was clearly new and needed support, but didn’t get it from anyone else on her team. Taking our orders was a challenge for her, we had to repeat our orders several times each. The drinks came out, she couldn’t remember who ordered what, even after the repetition. It was fine, we helped her. She kept disappearing and neglecting our table, our waters were never filled after we requested for more. When the food came, she served the burger to the only vegetarian at the table - also, the burger was drier than the Sahara desert. We finally finished and it was midnight by the time we waited for the bill. We originally asked for separate bills but she had punched all our orders in wrong, after 20 minutes she finally came back. The POS machine wasn't working so we tried 5-6x, during one of which, she yanked my hand away aggressively as I was inserting my card. Even after all that, it did not work and I was asked to go up to the bar to pay. I requested to speak with the manager at this point. As I went up, I got an Amex purchase notification on my phone and showed the manager, who insisted that the payment did not go through. He proceeded to gaslight me saying the first charge was a pre authorized charge … at a restaurant?! They ended up charging me twice and told me I would need to call him only IF it went through, after I showed him it charged twice on my phone. I now have homework to do, after leaving this experience. I’m not sure how they have such high ratings, considering not a single apology was provided to our group - go at...
Read moreService was great, but the concept fell flat for me! Very sad about this because I came in excited and ready to love it.
first, the good. Fitz served us and was great! We were celebrating a birthday and got some prosecco and cheesecake. Thank you Fitz!
their cheesecake was AMAZING. One of the best I’ve in had in years - the raspberry sauce was special 💯
What didnt click for me:
the menu and the changing prices were on small plasma tvs that were hard to read. Where my seat was facing, there was no tv accessible / menu - turning around was a bit awkward.
they dont give you any rationale for how often the prices change, and what happens if the price changes between ordering a drink and receiving it - it could be random for all we know.
the cheapest drink i saw was $11 on a Thursday night. For the concept, the prices and fluctuation just felt very surface level. The presentation/display felt a bit tacky
with three ‘dips’ that come with the fries and really just three smears of sauce on a plates. It was $8 so I guess we should have figured.
Overall I feel like the decor was an afterthought for the concept. The music was too loud and the tables felt a bit big. Do not expect a cozy bar vibe - it felt more like a spaced out restaurant. Of course that is fine, but I didnt originally associate that kind of decor with a stock market themed bar. My experience was more a regular restaurant/bar that happened to have changing drink prices...
