We hosted our wedding @DX on October 9, 2016. Nothing but positive feedback. Special thank you to Michelle for all your efforts with me - and my planning needs. If your looking to host your wedding at a venue, that has a totally different feel - look no further. Still receiving compliments !! Amazing. Thanks.

Just wanted to added to my post... Like I said above, I held my wedding at the Design Exchange on October 9, 2016 - (well over a month now) and a guest must have left a CASH gift for us during cocktail hr - and MIchelle called me to tell me that they found it ... I had no clue it was missing - I just said maybe the guest didn't provide a gift... but MIchelle called me to let me know my gift was there for pick up.. SUPER HONEST :) ...

We hosted our annual Market Insight Forum at the Design Exchange, a venue we selected for its central location and spacious layout—perfectly suited to accommodate our growing event needs. From the initial planning stages to the day-of execution, every detail was flawlessly managed. The incredible team at the Design Exchange made the entire process seamless, ensuring smooth coordination with vendors like GetWrapped for branding, as well as A/V specialists, security, catering, and setup crews. Everything came together effortlessly, creating an exceptional experience for all attendees. We’re already looking forward to returning next year! A huge thank you to everyone at the Design Exchange and all our partners for making this event...

Prior employees running the not for profit were amazing, so great to work with.

The new owners (Elevate) as of 2021 are so slimy and money-hungry. Trying to ruin the integrity of a historical building, consider themselves not for profit, but they increase prices three-fold and even if you sign a contract they provide and provide a deposit, they change conditions because they haven’t signed it despite that not being a condition previously. Generally once they literally accept your money into their bank account, it’s accepted. We got our full money back after we refused to work with a venue that is changing the integrity of the building and upping the fee. So glad we’re no longer working with them...

I was hired to read tarot cards and hired other readers to accommodate a large Corporate annual Christmas event which has been using my services for the past few years. This was their 2024 location, the staff were so kind and helpful, everything was impeccable. They provided dinner for me and my staff during this 6 hour party which was delicious. Eatertainment owns this venue. It’s got Good energy. My Dad was a stockbroker and he worked there too when it was the Toronto Stock Exchange so the place has sentimental value to me too.

Design and Finance The first building of Toronto Stock Exchange is now the DX where creative displays and events occur. Beautiful murals showing industries traded in public stock markets are embedded above the former trading floor: transportation and technology, infrastructure, construction and agriculture. Talks, events and exhibitions happen regularly for free and fee. The new TSX moved to another building at 130 King west and is stall tower with a modern trading floor and ticker board.

Imbued with history, great high ceilings, and a central location, this is a fabulous location. The only concerns I have are ones that are hard to address: it can be hard to find if you don't know where it is, and the entrance can be congested and busy. But once you're there and inside, it's great!!
