Super fresh, very accommodating, bright atmosphere, and happy, helpful staff. Very much recommend for a quick, healthy salad option. 🥗 I build my own bowl, base it with kale, red leaf lettuce, add roasted spicy broccoli, pickled carrot + daikon, roasted corn, watermelon radish, roasted garlic green beans, red pepper, red onion, walnuts, cilantro, and then head over next door (at the QSW location) to top my salad with Dave’s Hot Chicken tenders as my protein. I’ve achieved peak salad, I think. I let the ingredients speak for themselves, and don’t get any dressing, but do wish they had dried cranberries as a topper option. I just add those and the walnuts/cilantro/sunflower seeds and other toppers at home sometimes.

First impressions was I didn’t even know this was a store front for a restaurant as it does t stick out enough showcasing it’s a “Forest Hill Farmhouse”. The inside was very clean very welcoming. The server was helpful and polite dealing with my order. Had the Casa Loma salad. Everything was quite fresh besides the tortilla chips inside the salad being slightly stale. I would give the Cobb salad or the shawarma chicken bowl a try. Even though the price for a salad does seem quite big. The serving size is also larger than I expected.

I come here often and usually everything is fine but today i left and when i got back to my place my salad was half full! There wasnt enough greens or anything in it and for over 20 dollars it was a bit disappointing:-(

I've ordered twice, once via doordash and once in person! Both times were very good and I was impressed by the portions. It wasn't perfect but I can't really justify taking off a star.

First order: the Casa Loma with a rice and kale base. I would not get rice again, It was just too much, and soaked up all of the dressing, making the bowl less flavourful overall. Decent amount of chicken and other veggies. The kale was slightly softened which I super appreciate.

Second order: Spicy Sesame with added crispy chicken and a kale base. The chicken is breaded and wasn't very crispy, but very herby and has a slight spicy kick. Got a solid 4+ cups of veggies. Tons of yummy spiced cashews! Oh my god so many cashews, like a cashew in every bite.

I know it's not a new business but it's new to Parkdale so I do have some feedback on the business itself, in hopes they'll stick around!

The step to the front door is unsafe. It's narrow and uneven, especially tricky on exiting. Please fix it!

The storefront needs some work. It's on a side street and won't get much foot traffic. Depending where you approach from, you can't see the huge menu or service counter and you'd easily walk past and never clock what they even do.

The doordash menu does not seem to match the in-store menu. I.e. the app says basil ranch, as does a promo sign in the store, but the big board says Dill Ranch. Two very different flavours! If I had ordered from the app expecting basil, and received Dill, that meal would have been ruined for me. As well, there seems to be many more salad options on the app.

I'd also love if you could swap dressing choices without an extra fee on the app.

I noticed several early reviews identify inconsistent quality, small portions, etc. I only have two visits to base this on, but my perception is that they solved the issue. The solo employee who was working tonight was super nice, helpful (let me sample a dressing!) and made my salad with care.

One you add tax, you're looking at a salad with protein at minimum $20. For a nutritious meal with generous vegetables and healthy protein options, I think that's fair. Anytime I can manage to get a balanced meal for takeout for...

It’s more or less okay—not great, just FINE. A handful of ingredients were missing from my salad (including the one that the salad is named after lol) and from a service perspective, you would think that they would let me know that they were out of the most iconic ingredient in a certain salad.

I know haters will talk about the price—I’m not a hater, I just don’t really see enough value to justify the price. The ingredients aren’t super premium or added labor (e.g., my “roasted almonds” were barely roasted if at all, etc). I have no problem paying for a high-quality salad (but there are additional considerations in a community like parkdale), but I’m really surprised by the pricing to value ratio here. Maybe they pay their staff very well?

Tbh I’m not really seeing the value here, and if there is a story to tell that supports the cost, then perhaps more effort should be spent telling it. I can get a salad of extremely similar quality for $10...

literally the worst salads ever, and the sweet potato had a weird gross fishy taste, i have to wonder if it was expired or prepared incorrectly. otherwise everything else was just incredibly bland and boring. almost nothing was seasoned on its own, the dressing lacked salt and acidity, none of it was cohesive or flavourful. they were out of both the dressings i wanted early on a saturday evening. when i came to pick up the online order, they hadn’t even started making it after 20+ minutes since it was placed, and the restaurant was completely empty with no orders and no customers! the vibes inside are also terrible, completely cold and lifeless, no music playing (??!!), and had that “new house” smell. and to top it all off the prices are insanely high. i will literally never come here again or recommend that anyone else does, just another bad franchise trying to...
