I ordered my food today via Uber Eats and as expected, there's a missing item yet again with my order. I called right away to let them know that this is the second time that this happened to me my order is incomplete, yet again! I spoke to a guy with Chinese accent (I think he's the manager) and said that they will redeliver the missing item, but he didn't say what time or how long should I wait. I understand that they maybe ask of human power coz it's a Friday night but I waited patiently after almost an hour without any update whatsoever. I called the restaurant, put me on hold for almost 4 minutes before the same guy took my call. I asked him the status, but he said " I don't know. I don't have time to deliver it right now. We are so busy and you have to give me more time." So I asked him, well can you at least give me an ETA? My family ordered that food specifically. You can't blame me to be upset coz I ordered and paid for it but unfortunately, you didn't deliver. It's not my problem. I heard him mumbling in a different language and mobile and said to me with an aggressive tone " I DONT KNOW! WE ARE BUSY RIGHT NOW. IF YOU WANT YOUR FOOD, WHY DONT YOU CALL UBER AND ORDER AGAIN!" Then he hung up. Tried calling back couple of times but they didn't answer/went to unset up voicemail. WOW! Just WOW! No remorse. No apologies. Disgusting!!! Extremely terrible experience and will never deal with this impossible unprofessional customer service....
Read moreI have done take outs from this place twice now. Contrary to other reviews, I have dealt with two different people on the counter and they have been nice. The food is always ready to be picked up within 15 minutes of the call.
Now the food, is this really No 1 Hakka restaurant? maybe, maybe not, but it is DEFINITELY up there! This is the only hakka joint where you can tell they use better quality ingredients, don't put as much oil and salt. Like I can actually see herbs being used. When you ask them to make it spicy, they charge 0.25 cents, however, they actually put more spices(not just chillies) and genuinely make the food spicier, that 0.25 is definitely worth it!
Yes the food portion is a little less than other hakka joints, however, they more than make up for it with the quality of their food, and it is still generally pretty cheap food.
So far I have tried crispy giner beef, chicken manchurian(dry), Szechuan chicken (dry), manchurian fried rice and i would get all of them again in...
Read moreMiserable restaurant mainly the attitude of the owner (who declined to tell his name), we ordered take-out two rice and two cauliflower manchurian and when we started having our dinner we realized the cauliflower was having an unsavoury taste (As we had this dish from same restaurant before we were able to distinguish the taste different), so when we called to check what happened the receptionist fwd the call to the owner. After I explained our problem (myself and my spouse were so polite) and said this dish is uneatable, for that he is asking, "WHY IS SOMEONE AT YOUR HOME DYING EATING THIS DISH?", I couldn't believe my ears did I hear something wrong, but again he insisted asking the same question. Apart from not feeling sorry for spoiling our dinner and he is also apathetic in asking a such a question to a customer, does he thinks customers going there because of NO CHOICE or they giving free food, so guys don't choose to have such humiliation. This is...
