I am already a massive, massive fan of Isle of Coffee. Their original midtown location was one of my most frequented cafés while I lived in that area. It truly delivers in regards to coffee, treats, and atmosphere. Despite moving downtown, I have still made a point to visit the Eglinton café when I need to drive further north. You can imagine how thrilled I am to know there is now a downtown Isle, and I was so happy to visit it on opening day. This particular Isle has an inviting space, that has plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor). It has similar elements to the OG Eglinton location (the colour scheme, the black and white movie projecting onto the wall), while still looking fresh and modern. The coffee is excellent, and there are the same treats offered. I am happy to say there is still an abundance of gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options available for those with dietary restrictions. Overall, I love Isle of Coffee, and it is so exciting to have a new coffee shop downtown!

Cool new coffee shop! The decor is stylish and inviting, creating a cozy ambiance that makes you want to settle in for hours. It's the perfect spot to work, catch up with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The coffee was excellent, and I highly recommend trying their pastries especially cheese and corn scone—it’s a yummy treat. I also love the transformation of this space. It used to be a cannabis store, and I’m thrilled it’s now a coffee shop—it adds so much more charm and utility to our neighborhood. Whether you’re looking for a spot to be productive or simply relax, this place is a gem. Highly recommend checking it out especially right now during this cold winter. Coming back for sure for some good coffee and pastries!

Cute coffee shop in the Leslieville area. A lot of thought was put into the design of the space from the frontage of their shop through to the interior design. I went in on a Monday morning just before 10am and the shop was occupied by people working off of their laptops. They had some tables along the wall and some built in booth seats with mini round tables. There was still a few tables available so I got to enjoy my coffee there. I ordered an americano with a matcha madeleine while my partner ordered a cold latte. The americano was as expected, but the madeleine, to my surprise was rich in matcha flavour and was very moist inside. It was a nice treat to go with any black coffee. I hope to go back soon to try their teddy bear treat and the cheesecakes.

Visited Isle of Coffee recently, and it’s a beautifully designed space that’s perfect for breaking up your day or getting some work done. The minimalist aesthetic is on point, with soft arches, recessed lighting, and neutral tones that create a soothing atmosphere. The round tables are simple yet functional, and the wood accents bring a touch of warmth that balances out the clean, modern feel.

Even the cups and plates have been carefully selected—simple, elegant, and adding to the overall soothing vibe. It’s clear they’ve thought of everything here. The coffee itself is top-tier; I had their signature brew, which was smooth and rich, without being too overpowering. As for the treats, they offer a delightful selection—cookies, light sponge cakes, and cheesecake. Everything is freshly baked in-house and pairs perfectly with the coffee, whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or just a light snack.

The staff are knowledgeable and super friendly, which just adds to the great energy of the place. If you're looking for a new go-to spot to recharge, relax, or get some work done with a great cup of coffee, Isle of...
