Saw the Google reviews and HAD to try this place.
The restaurant was warm, inviting, and spotless. Although I was dining alone, it's a great place to bring family, friends, or to go on date night.
The woman at the counter was super-friendly and let me know that the items on the menu could easily be customized. She also told me about the app, discounts, etc. Very kind and seemed to enjoy working there.
The vegan options were plentiful and well-labelled. I felt confident knowing I wouldn't be eating something that I didn't want to eat.
The masala dosa was beautiful - the best I've had in a very long time. The stew and chutneys were so flavorful and I couldn't decide which one I liked best.
The price was fair for the quality, in my opinion. I ate every, last bit.
Will definitely be back and will be bringing my vegan and non-vegan pals.
Welcome to the neighbourhood. Love seeing new restaurants pop up after the devastation of unnecessary lockdowns on small businesses.
I wish you much...
Read moreI have been visiting this restaurant for the last three years with my friends. We’ve always enjoyed ordering online and dining in, but recently, our experience has completely changed.
This time, I was about to place an online order, but the staff said dine-in was not allowed for online orders — even though the restaurant was not full at all. We didn’t order this time because of that policy.
We’ve ordered from here many times before, including coffee and many other items — I can even provide receipts if needed. It’s disappointing to see such poor customer service, especially from a place we’ve supported for years. Sadly, it doesn’t feel worth visiting anymore.
Edit:Absolutely incorrect information from your staff. At no point did I say I would come back later — your staff clearly mentioned that dine-in was not allowed for online orders.
If needed, I can visit the restaurant tomorrow with the same friends who were with me today to clarify the situation in person. Let’s get the...
Read moreI recently visited Roti Place, a Punjabi & South Indian restaurant in Toronto, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with their food and service. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and were attentive throughout my entire meal.
The menu had a wide range of Roti dishes to choose from, but I have to say that their roti was simply outstanding. It was hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. They also have some ready made options if you don't want to customize your roti combo.
The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The prices were very reasonable, especially given the quality of the food and service.
Overall, I highly recommend Roti Place to anyone looking for delicious Punjabi cuisine in Toronto. Whether you're a longtime fan of Punjabi food or trying it for the first time, you won't be disappointed! This is something unique.
Highly...
