Worst experience ever. Was looking to try a new breakfast place and what a disappointment. Our server was useless. The hipster looking guy with a man bun was a complete right off. I get you’re busy but if I wanted fast food speed service i would go to McDonald’s. Took him forever to even take our order. His abrupt rushed behaviour was very off putting. Once we eventually placed our order we waited for about 20-30 mins for food which never arrived. That’s on top of the 15-20 min wait from when we sat down. 45 mins for food?! No thank you. I paid for my tea and left And the man bun had the audacity to antagonize me and was trying to be extra polite and said “have a great day” loudly so everyone could hear him. Get some manners on how to serve people. So disgusted with this place. Don’t waste your time or money The only decent person in there was the lady who sat us with the red ish hair in a ponytail. She was actually pleasant. The rest were a waste Also they are not following covid protocol. No six feet distancing. I think we were barely a foot away from tables all around us. Horrible horrible experience If I could give a zero I would but that’s not an option on here We ended up going to cherie bistro which was fantastic. The attached picture is from there and not this dive that we needed up at. Amazing service there and amazing food

Paddington’s Pump at St. Lawrence Market was an absolute gem of a find! The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the incredibly handsome and oh-so-charming Athan, our Greek waiter, who truly made our day. His charisma and infectious smile had us hooked from the start—honestly, I just wish I had more time with Athan! 😘 😎The food? Out of this world! Every dish was packed with flavor, and you could taste the love in every bite. Whether you’re craving something hearty or just a quick snack, Paddington’s Pump delivers in every way. The cozy, laid-back atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to chill with friends, and let’s be real—it’s worth coming back just to see Athan again! If you’re in St. Lawrence Market and looking for a place that has it all—delicious food, a warm vibe, and service that will leave you smiling—look no further. Just do yourself a favor and ask for Athan. You won’t regret it, but be warned: one meal might not be enough because you’ll want to keep coming back! Service is confusing and the sandwiches are mediocre to say the least. Their "signature dish" is too big to bite, so it breaks into layers when you try to eat it as a sandwich. It's not a sandwich anymore, you have to eat that bland bun and raw onion, and lettuce separately from the ham (even though they asked about the onion I couldn't imagine it would be raw). It is also rather simple and not worth $11. It is a miracle for me why such a simple fruit salad costs $4.25 on top.... The staff was running around the room in confusion, as if they were first day there, no communication and no order. They are nice, but disorganized. I have waited my bill for 15 minutes. Unfortunate. The mustard squeezer was dirty on the outside and it was gross to even hold it. What about people who eat with their hands (it's the sandwich in the end)? Unbelievable... The only reason they have people there is because they are at the front of the St. Lawrence market. If something - this place should reconsider the standards they have, otherwise the guests will not return.
