I don’t even know where to start I’m pretty sure this review is going to fall on deaf ears unfortunately!! Our evening at piñata tacos for starters I’ve been coming to your restaurant for yearssss from going to Luna next door and having your tacos after! and I understand when you guys get swapped it’s a longer wait. However Tonight me and my wife waited for an hour for our 3 tacos and 1 quesadilla that the waitress charged me for 2 quesadillas and I noticed this on my receipt when I got home. I even confirmed my I ordered my meal along with WELL DONE quesadilla with the waitress she said yes. She then proceeded to asked me how we would like it. Me and my wife requested it mild but it came out spicy. The waitress didn’t give TWO FUQS she basically told me and my wife it was mild and that we were in the wrong as if we haven’t eaten at your restaurant before! No apology was even said for this ordeal just the apology of waiting an hour for dinner. She then asked the cook to redo our quesadilla and take a look at the pics is it WELL DONE no it’s not. Im just upset me and my wife just wanted to go out like many people in Toronto to enjoy salsa on st.Clair and we wanted to end the night with amazing service and tacos and just got the opposite. Thank you for the amazing years but tonight was my last. Wish you guys the best!

This place has delicious mexican burritos. I had a magarita coupled with a steak burrito. I've had a selection of their menu options but I'd recommend their burritos hands down. Food: Not too big, not small, just right - and some sauce to kick up the flavour. This place offers three levels of spice made with three different peppers: Mild - Jalapeño Medium - Guajillo Hot - Habanero Sauces (from right to left): I'll be honest, the mild sauce does not do much, the best is medium if you are looking for flavour but no kick. My favourite is definitely hot, habanero accentuates the flavour in their burrito, and it tastes amazing. This place definitely deserves 5 stars for their burrito. Service/Atmosphere: Not very personal, they play some music, and the bartender/staff do check in on you but if you are sitting at the bar, it'll take some time for them to check-in. The staff are usually multitasking, but if you speak up, they'll definitely come to assist with whatever you need. It's of course pleasant, but not very warm. Overall, if you are looking for a delicious mexican burrito, Piñata is definitely a place to stop by and grab a bite. Their food is always delicious, whether dine-in or takeout.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Piñata Tacos and ordered their chicken tacos, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The tacos themselves were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. But what truly made my visit memorable was the outstanding service provided by Haziel. From the moment I walked in, Haziel made me feel genuinely welcomed. He carried himself with such warmth and professionalism, always smiling and ensuring that everything about my order was up to the highest standards. It’s rare to come across someone in hospitality who not only serves food but also makes you feel valued as a guest, and Haziel did exactly that. He checked in on me just the right amount of times, making sure my tacos were prepared perfectly and that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. Because of Haziel’s exceptional service and his dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction, I can confidently say this will not be my last visit. Great food is one thing, but great service is what keeps people coming back—and Haziel truly embodies that. I would highly recommend Piñata Tacos, especially with Haziel around.

TL;DR VERY expensive ($35.60 4x Tacos). Decent flavours and quantity. Kind service. Interesting design.

Food: I got a combination of 1x Quesairria taco ($9+tax), 1x Steak taco ($7.50+tax), Cochinita Taco ($7.50+tax) and 1x Al Pastor tacos ($7.50+tax). The Birria was pretty good on it's own, with subtle flavours but the cheese overwhelms in flavour and makes it slightly salty but still good. Even when matched with the consume that comes in an espresso type cup (smart). The Birria taco came with doubled tortilla, with the outside tortilla being fried. The quantity of meat was respectable. I did not find the Birria to be spicy at all. I did find one piece of bone within my taco.

The Carne taco full of flavour with a slight salty taste. The meat itself was very soft.

The Cochinita taco was soft, juicy, with good flavour but subtle.

The Al Pastor was pretty good, with a smokey taste, and the meat was pretty packed.

The tortilla tasted very authentic.

Service: The servers were pretty chill and quick. From the moment we entered to order, all the way to getting the food was pretty fast but there was only about 7 other people ordering.

Setting: They were playing Techno music, at a volume slightly over medium. The washrooms smelled good despite looking pretty run down. The walls in the dining room and washroom are designed by seemingly customer’s writing and drawings with sharpies. There were about 7 single tables that fit 2 people and a third if you wanted to add a chair to the side. There was 1 table with 4 seats and then a couple of stools by the bar. They also offer you the sharpie so you can add your personal touch to...
