My favourite type of pizza is margarita pizza, so I was really excited to find an option that was also true to authentic Neapolitan-style pizza.
I’ve had the pizza many times and it’s consistently good. The ingredients are fresh and the crust is amazing—super crispy and has a slight charred flavour which brings out the sweetness of the tomato sauce. It is definitely a thin-crust pizza, so if you’re a fan of “light” pizza, you’ll enjoy this.
They also have an option for unlimited toppings, which I’m looking forward to trying just to switch things up a bit.
Their Sweet Pi option is also great—it’s completely customizable and quite good. I’m docking .5 stars because while it’s good, it’s not very consistent. Sometimes it’s great, and other times I’ve found that they’ve skimped on the toppings/filling.
All in all, great pizza and the fact that they’re on Ritual helps to make for a quick...
Read moreWe have dined here and ordered delivery many time from this location many times since the opening 3-4 years ago. Staff & Service in generak here have been much better than other locations downtown etc. Pies are fresh, stone oven baked and good when eaten right there.
We have noticed that pies get soggy , rubbery and chewy and sometime even dine in but mostly when delivered. Not sure if its the dough. Reheating it makes it even bad( reheat tags on the boxes ).
We think the quality may have slightly detoriated post pandemic.
Howver , “Craft Your..” with unlimited toppings is a great option. Margarita pies also taste great and so are the cinnamon and garlic bread. Salad Bar is good addition to the pizzas and salads are quite ok. ( too small portions for the price)
Overall its a decent pizza and salad option when you...
Read moreAs a comparison, I would say that the dough here is thicker than Blaze and the crust isn’t as yummy. Having said that, Pi Co has a good assortment of cheeses and their toppings are larger in size. Something to note for all these “unlimited” offers is that you can’t put THAT much. Reason being that your pizza becomes too heavy and it no longer tastes good. Imagine lifting that piece of pizza and your toppings are falling off. Not only that, customers have noted that all pizza creations are baked at the same time…hmm, wouldn’t it take longer for heavier pizzas to cook? One more thing, don’t waste your money adding the truffle oil option – my friend said it wasn’t worth it. By the way, I couldn’t finish the whole pizza., so it’s pretty big. Overall, I still really like Pi Co but I’d rather pay less at Blaze for their thin...
