Hasty Market — Local services in Toronto

I'm not sure where all the reviews about rudeness come from, I've been coming to this convenience store for over a decade and not once have the people working there been rude. Everyone who works there is so pleasant regardless of what time of day it is. The only rudest I've ever seen is from the customers being rude to the staff there.

As for the comments about them not opening on time. In my 10 years of coming here I've only seen this happen once or twice. I think people forget that some stores downtown are still run as a family business and sometimes things happen. Yes it's an inconvenience for you, but imagine something happened to you on your commute to work where you couldn't make it to a presentation or a meeting on time not much you can do about it right. Sometimes you got to think twice before talking down about a business.

They’re a terrible market. I went to buy a Häagen-Dazs ice cream. I saw the price marked. When I went to pay The person that took the ice cream from me to scan, looked at the other female clerk, who then walked away from the counter, and the man told me hang on just a minute she went over and grabbed herself a Pepsi brought it over to the cash register guy who scanned it and then scanned my ice cream. I said I’d like a receipt, please. When I looked at the receipt, they had scanned the Pepsi on my bill and then when I asked for the receipt, he removed it, and as he handed the Häagen-Dazs to me, he said that he had taken The Pepsi off my...

Went in to get a bottle of liquor. Couldn’t find any besides wine and beer in the fridge, so i ask the two ladies working. I said “do you guys sell liquor bottles?” and the first one ignores me completely and so i ask the 2nd lady and she gives me a dirty look and points and says “the alcohol is over there.” I asked a specific question, “do you sell liquor bottles?” She just has an RBF and gives me a dirty look the whole time.
