HI STAFF THAT WAS WORKING THAT DAY ILY! I was coming home from school and was HUNGRY. My phone was dying, my tablet was dying, I was dying. So I found this place on google and decided to check it out. It’s in the middle of a location filled with really great restaurants, so I was excited to check it out. I walk in, and I can immediately tell the staff there were extremely friendly and chill. They were very warm when taking me to my seat. Now as somebody who listens to music on the bus, my phone battery was a tad too low to be able to do anything of the sort. I am so grateful that they took my phone and charged it, so thank you. I wanted to go simple, so I ordered a pepperoni pizza. The sauce guys, THE SAUCE. ITS SO GOOD. OH MY GOD. And the crust wasn’t like bread, so I managed to eat everything at once. They gave chilli oil on the side, which wasn’t very spicy, but it definitely added more flavour. I sat at the front so I can’t really speak for how the back of the restaurant looks like, but the front was quaint and nice. Because my phone was gone and charging, I didn’t have any music in, and kind of just people watched. It was peaceful. I left with a full belly and satisfied, it was great. As someone in the restaurant industry, I find that a lot of servers tend to judge people who eat alone and don’t get drinks or anything as they won’t be paid as much, so I’m always scared for that, but they were really nice. Even complimented my drawings- you guys made my week :) thank you!

I was walking around on Ossington trying to decide what to try this time and my mind was shouting at me “Get pizza now!” (LOL) and I remembered I was on a date once and this guy suggested LIBRETTO but it was during the one of those lockdowns where nothing was opened so we couldn’t give it a taste. So, yesterday I was on another date with another boy and said to him “Let’s try LIBRETTO”. At the beginning we were confused because the patio is not in front of the entrance, it’s a few steps further down and also you have to wait to be seated. We only waited less than 5min on the red bench just by the entrance. The staff were great. Only run by girls (at least that night) which I love. So courteous and genuine and gorgeous. I really enjoy going to places and restaurants where Italian influence is a thing. I mean many of the words are in Italian and the taste of the food also. I’m not Italian but Spanish and love ordering food trying my best to pronounce in this beautiful language. Ok the food…we tried the pizza…they were mind blowing. Mine was CAPRICIOSA. I can’t describe in words, but was absolute perfection. The mix of the right flavours: prosciutto and the fresh basil. OMG. He ordered SALCICCIA. Incredible the mix of salty and sweet: fennel sausage and caramelized onion. (I can’t even). Just say less Toronto. Go visit LIBRETTO’s amazing taste on Ossington I can’t wait to come back to try more!!

This is a loud restaurant. As new parents, we’re still a bit nervous taking our little one out, despite her being generally very quiet. At this restaurant, it couldn’t have mattered less. You are definitely not hearing a crying baby. Maybe that’s a plus or minus for you, but regardless…it’s loud. But onto the food…I’ve been here (to this location) a few times now, so I can definitively say that the amazing pizza I had the first time wasn't a fluke…the pizza here is just GOOD. There’s something about Neopolitan pizza (I think it’s that you can eat a whole one, without feeling the same kind of gross as if you’d eaten a whole Pizza Pizza pizza), but the simplicity of their pizzas means that you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. If you’re lucky, there are a bunch of toppings you don’t like, and that will narrow the choice for you – but otherwise, good luck. Pick a random number. Have a friend order for you. It doesn't matter. The dough is going to be delicious, full of sauce, and covered in fresh versions of whatever toppings you landed on. I’m sure all their appetizers are good, but we tried out the meatballs, and I loved them. Very saucy and very cheesy. We had great service too. It was busy, but we never felt rushed to finish our bottle of wine.

Service was mediocre. I understand that the patio for your restaurant was 4 doors down the street but we're here to support your restaurant so the least that can be done is to be happy to have customers who are excited to be out again. The pizza we ordered was really fresh and delicious. So that was awesome. But we shared the Burrata di Borgo as an appetizer which was delicious but it came with 3 very small pieces of bread. Barely enough to have with the cheese. It looked like it was left over by other customers. We thought this was an odd number considering it was to be shared by two people. When we asked if we could get some more to go with the rest of the cheese they brought us a small loaf that looked like it should have came with it in the first place. This appetizer was not cheap. It was $21.50! Please bring enough bread to go with it! We shouldn't have to ask for more. It's just bread. Most restaurants offer unlimited bread for free. When we got the bill, to our surprise there was an extra $3.00 charge for the extra bread that should have been included in the original price of the cheese. I understand that the restaurant business has suffered so much due to Covid and the $3.00 is nothing in the big picture but I believe that the employees/owners should work with us as we get back to normal. I love tipping for great food and service. Let's not nickel and dime the customers. We're all ready to go out and support you. Side note, the Nutella cookie would be a lot...
