Good shawarma, one of the bests in downtown Toronto. The mixture of fresh veggies in the wraps adds another level of taste. So far, this has been my favorite spot in the downtown area. Plus, if you’re a student, you’ll get a 15% discount. The quality has remained consistent over the years. One downside is their method of preparing the shawarma wraps. They assemble the wraps directly on a white stone surface and drag the bread on it. It would be much safer and healthier if they used a tray instead. Overall, I like it and would definitely visit more often

Pros: Very good shawarma restaurant. Excellent taste. Priced slightly higher than other stores in the market, ok value for money. Flavour is nice and zesty, rice is excellent, vegetables salad is very Fresh. I got the plate and was very happy with my choice! An 8/10 restaurant. Cons: I had my dinner inside, for 10 min, and when I left My clothing smelled strong food smell, even next day clothing still smell, hence i am updating my review the hood exhaust fan and ventilation is Not working well.

Visited this place around night time. The place was neat and clean. Not a lot of people on a sunday night. Atmosphere is good. Talking about food, it’s delicious and the chicken is well cooked. Fries are delicious as well. The chefs are very patient and will listen carefully about your requirements. This place is good for meat lovers. For vegetarians you can get fries poutine and falafel. Must visit place if you really love chicken.

I ordered myself a large chicken shawarma wrap ($11.49) and a chicken shawarma plate ($17.49) for someone else, which totalled $27.83 after a $4 student discount. The wait to order was about 5 minutes, and the food took 5 minutes on top of that.

My wrap was very disappointing for the price and time: the exactly measured cup of chicken was salty and somewhat dry, I wasn't given the option of garlic sauce, and they skimped out on the hummus, and tahini sauce. 2 handfuls of cucumber, and one handful of tomatoes were thrown in to fill most of my wrap while the other ingredients paled in comparison.

If you're a student at UofT, I'd just recommend the shawarma wraps at the green food truck - service is faster, the food is cheaper and tastes...

Oh my Shawarma. Clean, friendly, and fast and good god, DELICIOUS! I work close by and was craving something other than a burger or T&T (which are both delicious, but you gotta' mix it up) and zoned in on Shawarma Max. Reviews were good and I had to check if the hype was real: It IS. I had the chicken shawarma platter and it was off the hook. Generous helpings of chicken, perfectly cooked rice (a bit soft to counter the crispiness of the chicken) and a nice side of fresh delicious veggies, plus garlic, Tahini, and hummus. I would eat another platter right now if I had it in front of me! Special mention goes to Mahan, who remembered my order twice after I’d been there one time and not for a long time between visits....

Went here for the first time the other day during a busy/rush time. Two guys (gloves and mask-washed hands openly) made the wraps but because a line was forming a woman came from the back room to help cash people out. She didn’t wash her hands nor did she wear a mask. In fact she coughed over the food and into her fist multiple times and then handled ppls food and drinks. My shawarma had been wrapped by the time she came but she fished out my sides and drink after coughing into her hands and not even sanitizing which wasn’t great. I sanitized the containers when I got home but it still felt nasty. The food itself was good I just don’t know if I’ll return after watching an employee/owner cough all...
