Absolutely Delicious Mixed Gyro!

I stopped by Souvlaki Place and ordered the chicken and pork mixed gyro—hands down one of the best gyros I’ve had in a long time. The meat was perfectly grilled: the chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the pork had that perfect crispy edge without being dry. The pita was warm and soft, and everything was wrapped up with fresh veggies and a generous dollop of creamy tzatziki.

The balance of flavors was spot-on, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. It's a hearty, satisfying meal that doesn't feel heavy. Great portion size, too—I left full and happy. I went here after I saw someone’s IG talking about how good the gyro here was. But when I tried it out, the chicken was very dry and extra salty. I have read reviews of it for both dry chicken as well as juicy and tender. It could be that the owner serves a day old chicken when it’s left over from the previous day and that’s how some of us get it really dry and others don’t because they got it freshly made. This is just a guess. Anyhow, I got the dry bit so I didn’t enjoy it. I had also ordered a side of Greek potatoes and they were extra soft so that was also not enjoyable.
