Fuwa Fuwa means "fluffy fluffy" in Japanese and that is the feeling you will get when having their pancakes. From Tokyo to Toronto, Fuwa Fuwa is spreading happiness one fluffy pancake at a time. Each pancake begins with egg whites whipped to soft peaks, essential to their finally airy quality and is then cooked very slowly at low temperature. Tasting like a delicate balance between a soufflé and a traditional pancake. Soufflé pancakes are soft, bouncy and light. I came here on a Friday evening to try out their pastries and drinks: Matcha & Strawberry Latte ☕️ Both of these lattes were filled with deliciousness. Nothing warms you up better than these hot Japanese inspired drinks. From Matcha Latte to Hojicha Latte, they have a wide variety of options to help you keep warm on any cold day! Roll Cake 🍰 I tried their original roll cake and it wasn't too overly sweet. There was a lot of cream filling inside to satisfy your sweet cravings. I would give this pastry a worth it 👍. Macarons 🍪 I tried the blueberry and chocolate macarons. They have a nice balance between sweet and nutty flavour which brings out the goodness of a macaron. These weren't incredibly chewy and I would give this pastry a worth it 👍. Cupcakes 🧁 These fluffy cupcakes would make you happy and these put a smile on any face. From fruit-filled creations to classic chocolate and oreos, it is perfect for any occasion. I would give these cupcakes a worth it 👍. Scone 🥐 These plain scones themselves were ultra buttery with a hint of sweet tanginess. It came with a strawberry jam flavour topping. When paired with the scone and topping, it makes you want to savour every bite. I would give this pastry a 🔥. Overall, their service and staff were relatively quick and friendly. It is adorably decorated on the interior. However, there wasn't too much seating options due to limited space. I would definitely be coming back to try out their legendary pancakes and visiting other locations in Scarborough, Vaughan and Mississauga 😋.

My friends and I after eating Dinner, we decided to go for dessert. We were in downtown area so we just go inside to check it out. The menu isn't complicate, very easy to read and the pancakes images melted my eyes.. I choose the Fuwa Fuwa soufflé pancake and ice strawberry latte and my friend and his girlfriend when for the Tiramisu Pancake and Hojicha latte and sesame latte. When the brought both orders to the table I would say my eyes were already happy. Visually a piece of art. When I tried I would say it just melted on my mouth Really the perfect soufflé pancakes. Consistency and flavour was top notch. Every time I remember it, my mouth starts to melted again lol! I try as well a piece of the tiramisu pancake and it was delicious delicious. The way they made is impressive and I really recommend to try. Japanese desserts are completely different and they are distinguished by the soft flavour and delicacy. The ice strawberry latte was very good and I try the sesame latte and hojicha latte, the consistency of both are unique and really does a good companion of any pancake. Service was great and local is small in the downtown location but it is cozy. Very unique and if you want to relax and have a good pancake. This is the place to go!

The pancakes were fluffy and the service was good. I ordered the (classic) Pancake Soufflé, with butter, maple syrup, and cream. There was also a yummy mint leaf in the cream. The staff were kind, and made sure that those who ordered first were able to be seated first (because of limited seating) if it was available. They didn’t rush me when I ordered, though it would have been easier if they had the menu posted up somewhere (you have to go to the front register and get the menus). The order itself didn’t take too long, which is good because we were able to finish faster. The prices are up there, but it’s okay for a once in a while thing. Note that they have the vicinity rewards program. I enjoyed the presentation; it’s cute yet a little classy. The butter was odd, as it was shaped like a raspberry and would not melt into the pancake since the cream cooled it down. I highly recommend getting the extra ice cream scoop as it was only $2 for a decent size (and it wasn’t hollow inside!). Overall the flavours blended nicely and it was a filling dessert, and I would buy again. The biggest concern is the space; there isn’t much seating room so if you come during a busy time you’d have to wait a while if you want to eat in.
