What a lovely surprise!!! There's now a Stacked in my neighbourhood, and it serves all-day breakfast!!!! I enjoyed my experience at their Danforth location, so was very easy to suggest Stacked to my friend for dinner.... she was sold on the Avocado 🥑 Toast when reviewing the menu before arriving! And she assures me it didn't disappoint! Upon arriving, Akash (the caring owner) warmly welcomed my friend and I. We both loved our decadent hot chocolates with whipped cream (very reasonably priced!) as we perused the extensive menu options. Akash generously brought us each a small sample of the soups: a broccoli cheddar (great consistency, not too thick and wonderfully comforting) and a tomato-chicken (dairy-free, bursting with flavour). I was very tempted to get a sandwich and side soup... but settled on a hash instead. I thoroughly enjoyed my Stacked Hash! Tender meat, delicious cheese, carmelized onions, peppers, home-fried potatoes all mixed together with some "holly" on it (Hollandaise sauce) and topped with 2 perfect (sunny-side up in my case) eggs.. and it came with a side of toast and their homemade strawberry jam!!! Do NOT skip the jam! (Or if you don't want yours, let me know 😉) Our other friends joined us for dinner and enjoyed their Mexican Hash and their Avocado & Egg Sandwich with Tomato-Chicken side soup. We decided to split one of their famous Cinnabon pancakes for dessert!! Our server, Sierra, was very friendly, attentive without hovering, and very prompt to refill our water glasses etc. Overall, a great place that I just can't keep a secret! P.S. Sorry for the tardiness of this review... this was from back...

My husband and I stopped into Stacked Pancake House on Queen Street today while visiting from Quebec, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed — the atmosphere was inviting, and it immediately set the tone for a great breakfast.

A very special shoutout goes to Avorie, our waitress, who truly made the experience exceptional. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and kind. She gave us thoughtful recommendations, checked in often, and made us feel like we were her only table. That level of care is rare, and it made a huge difference in our visit.

We ordered the Cinnabon Stack Pancakes and the Strawberry Vanilla Crepes. Both were fresh, delicious, and generously portioned — the pancakes were huge and definitely worth it!

Thank you, Avorie, for going above and beyond. You turned a simple breakfast into a 20/10 experience. We’ll definitely be back next time...

Food was good, fresh and good portion. I believe there are less servers so won’t blame the servers for slow service. They should definitely consider hiring 2 more people to make service fast. Another important aspect on why I rated one start for atmosphere is lack of security. It’s in core downtown where the random homeless people or strange people walked just right in and scared people by blabbering something about life and death. No one likes to hear this during breakfast. I’m all soft for people who lack homes and just for the needy in general but this is a restaurant and should have some security if you choose to open in an area like this. Otherwise food was good, this place has a lot of potential if the security can be worked around. Its just that me and my friend felt very unsafe as this strange person walked in and looked us and started saying threatening things. But thank you for the yummy...

I visited on a Sunday, around 12 pm and the wait was about 25 min for 1 person. The service was friendly, but slow. I was happy to see the option of gluten-friendly waffles, pancakes and toast, but unfortunately no gluten-friendly crepes. I was also disappointed to see no freshly squeezed juice options. I went with the gluten-free waffle, but had to add sides separately. If there was a similar meal deal, I wasn’t informed by my waitress. The space is small and mostly consists of 4-person tables. There is a small area where 2 individual diners can sit, but it is directly facing the street window and exposed to all the sunshine coming it. It is very hot and the AC doesn’t reach this area, unfortunately. Overall, I think it’s okay if you’re already in the area and the wait is short, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.
