As a 48-year-old on a mission to maximize my strength and vitality, my partnership with Aldo from Fit Squad has been nothing short of exceptional. Over the past year, we've embarked on a transformative journey that's redefined my approach to fitness. What truly sets Aldo apart is his unwavering commitment to technique and safety. With him, every rep is deliberate, every movement precise. There's no rush, no cutting corners—just a relentless focus on mastering form to prevent any chance of injury. It's this meticulous attention to detail that's empowered me to progress at my own pace, without ever feeling pushed beyond my limits. But what truly sets this experience apart is Aldo's understanding that fitness isn't just about workouts—it's about life. He doesn't expect me to bend over backward to accommodate my training; instead, he seamlessly weaves my lifestyle into our sessions. Whether it's early mornings or late nights, he's there, adapting to my schedule with unparalleled flexibility and support. In the end, it's clear: there are no quick fixes on the journey to true strength and wellness. Thanks to Aldo's expertise and unwavering dedication, I've not only reached new heights of physical prowess but have done so in a way that's sustainable and enriching. With Aldo by my side, the possibilities for my fitness journey feel endless. For anyone seeking a trainer who's not just a coach but a true partner, I couldn't recommend Aldo and Fit Squad more highly.

By far the best gym in downtown Toronto, especially for anyone who is serious about their training. It's not a cheapish discount gym, but you get what you pay for: a lot of top-notch equipment (Atlantis, Prime & Rogue, if you know, you know); truly no crowds, even in the after-work hours and prime location. And people are amazing. Everyone who trains there is nice, friendly, yet keeps it to themselves and focuses on their own training first. No loud teenagers, 'bros' or anyone obnoxious or half naked creating 'viral content'. There seems to be about equal amount of experienced people and kinda beginners (who mostly train with coaches), which makes environment in the gym quite balanced. There is an equipment for different types of strength training. I do mainly machines and some barbell/dumbell work with occasional crossfit here and there. But I also see people who are into bodybuilding, powerlifting, weightlifting, hyrox, functional fitness, calisthenics and general training, so there is no hardcore specialization and it's nice to have an option to learn a thing or two. And guys do really listen to feedback and constantly improve facility and services: new equipment, accessories & features are added regularly.

I've had the pleasure of training with FitSquad for over a year now and it's been a blessing in improving my lifestyle and overall health. Recently I've been taking part in their classes - specifically Athletic X on Saturdays - which is run by Sathish. The class is catered to improving strength, mobility, explosiveness and challenges me to test my limits. As an athlete, the class is the perfect compliment to my regular workout routine and allows me to become a better version of myself. Sathish is a competent and charismatic instructor who makes the class fun and enjoyable, while creating a great social environment to meet like-minded individuals. I highly recommend looking into their programs and services and reaching out to their friendly personal trainers for more information.

First, I want to say (and not to be dramatic) but Fit Squad has changed my life! I came to Fit Squad last October because I mentally wasn’t feeling like myself. I have trained with trainers in the past and consistently worked out on my own - but I needed to level up.

I met with Jenn who is amazing and she did a consultation and discussed my goals. We also talked about my nutrition and stress levels. I felt welcomed and supported immediately and knew I was in good hands!

I started training with Pedro and I have never looked back since! We currently train 3x a week and I love every session. I am so grateful for his expert guidance. Pedro is motivating, hilarious, and pushes me to go further than I would ever on my own! He also is extremely accommodating especially with my hectic work schedule. He understands when I’m having a bad day and let’s me be me at training. For me, training has never been about looking “good” it’s always been about how it makes me feel and I feel absolutely fantastic! I am full of energy, confident and my mental health has never been better.

However, the added benefit with training with Pedro and Fit Squad is that you start to see physical results too!!! That’s something that the team really instills in you. It’s not about looking good or progress photos or “eating perfect” it’s about being physically and mentally strong. Fit squad takes a holistic approach to training. Something in my opinion you don’t find with many personal training studios.

The Fit Squad team is a family and the trainers are truly all amazing! They all care about you and your own progress. They greet you by name and look out for you when you come in! They all are well-educated and open to your questions. It’s a supportive bunch and I would recommend them to EVERYONE, especially Pedro.

Last, some may say personal training is expensive or not worth it, and yah if you go to a studio or box gym that doesn’t personalize your workout to YOU. Fit Squad does personalize your training to you and they do it exceptionally well. They want to see you grow and are happy to help you improve in every way.

Invest in yourself and train with them, period. You will thank...

I have been training with FitSquad for 1.5 months now and love their services! Their approach to a good full body workout along with nutritional counselling is all you need to get going in the world of fitness.

As a gym/workout rookie and having packed on some weight in the past few years, my confidence levels were at an all time low before I started. I googled personal training and FitSquad came up. Naturally, I looked them up on Instagram. Not going to lie, watching all of their moves on Instagram can be quite daunting since everyone is such a pro and I was worried I would feel out of place. I still committed and went through with at least doing a consultation (I almost cancelled because I was so afraid to walk in and being around the pros, haha). So glad I did! All of the anxiety went out the door with my first consultation with Jenn at FitSquad, who put me right at ease! She was funny, very approachable and took the time to listen to my goals and find the right trainer for me (also answering my million and one questions).

Next I met with my trainer, Vanessa, for my fitness assessment. I cannot say enough positive things about her! She is flexible and has an open mindset to training. She makes sure the workout works for me (experimenting and finding new movements when something isn't working), all the while pushing me to get to the next level. She is personable, funny and very down to earth (which is so important when you are starting out). I truly look forward to my sessions with her every week. Her tips and tricks have also given me the confidence to begin working out on my own on the days I am not seeing her.

Everyone I met at FitSquad are genuinely the nicest people (don't be scared off by their pro levels), who are industry experts in what they do. I can also tell that the trainers push themselves on their own training, which is important to me because your trainer should always be learning and evolving on their own fitness goals (if not, time to look at FitSquad to find your next trainer...I swear they are not paying me to say this, haha).

I am glad I started this journey with them and hope...

I have been working out with Jen from Fit Squad for over four years now and cannot recommend her highly enough. Both she and her colleagues from Fit Squad deserve more than five stars. They take great pride in super knowledgeable, experienced staff that develop high-quality sessions tailored for each person in a way that is constantly challenging, inspiring and rewarding. I hated working out but Jen makes it fun, keeps it interesting but also doesn’t let me get away with bad form or laziness - she pushes me to keep improving. But always with a smile! She is a pleasure to meet up with in the morning and my body has transformed working with her. I run faster, I feel stronger, am more flexible and well balanced. My twice-weekly sessions are something I look forward to every week, and am still sore after every session. Jen's expertise and knowledge on a whole host of healthy lifestyle subject matter helps her field any questions I have relating to nutritional advice, mobility, flexibility, as well as coaching on swimming and running. And what she doesn’t know, one of the Fit Squad team can help out - they are a really well balanced and knowledgable group of fitness professionals.

I’ve also tried the group Fenom class - it was challenging, fun and adaptable for all fitness levels. It helped me get back into things when I took a break and was the perfect way to ramp back up into regular sessions. I’ve also signed up to try the Kettlebell and Flow class this weekend - excited to try another fun, challenging new offering...
