Expected just an average ayce sushi restaurant and got hit by one of our worst experiences.

The moment we sat down everyone else had 2 square tables , we had one. I reached to grab the solo square table next to me and they completely shut me down, refusing to give me a extra table even though this is an all you can eat meal and plates are bound to pile up. And what a surprise!!! The table wasn't used all night and not to mention there half of the other tables were not occupied either.

Food quality was below satisfactory even in ayce sushi standards. Tempura shrimp had a very unaunthentic batter and the shrimp tasted old or artificial. Sashimi did not taste fresh and you can tell their "torch" sushi is basically a way to cook off the sashimi that is going stale. All the rolls has way too much rice to a point where I had to start taking it apart myself so I'm not on taking 5 days worth of carbs in one meal.

Selection of foods was unimpressive and many items on the menu seem repeated with minor changes like avocado to cucumber.

They actually attempted to charge is extra money for a small part of a roll that we didn't finish because it just tasted really bad and quite frankly we were eating 90% rice, 5% sauce , 5% fish.

Waitresses seem to be untrained and lack manners.

Overall, the restaurant did not provide a good dining experience . $43 on a weekday can go towards much better food and service, or even just a better ayce sushi restaurant. I don't think I will ever return to this place again given the bountiful amount of ayce restaurants all around...

Good food, awful service.

I've been here twice and shall never eat here again. The owners are very greedy and rude. First time I visited I spend around 50 bucks, everything was alright, the sushi was served with ginger and wasabi as it should be. I told the owner I had a birthday and asked if they had a birthday discount. There was none and that's alright but they should be more welcoming and at least wish me a happy birthday, it's just etiquette expected from any restaurant. I went to a random store and they wished me a happy birthday, for instance. Also, they require you to pay right away, not when you're done eating, like every other sushi place.

The second time was disastrous. Apparently, the owner didn't like me for some reason, and served me sushi without wasabi and ginger. My friend who I was with bought a pre-made sushi that had wasabi and they implied that I should use her wasabi. Guys, why are you so greedy? One portion of wasabi costs around 5 cents and you give me strange looks for asking what other customers had and I didn't? Knowing these people, they cut their customers' coin like a loan, willing to profit so much that they're not ashamed of being rude over a small stuff like this. You don't sell a car without keys nor should you serve sushi without wasabi and ginger.

Please never go there, let's get them out of business and spare this location for someone who would care for...

very bad place.

unhealthy and not fresh food. and even can see insects flying in the store.

and veeeeeery ruuuude owner. first time in my life to see such a rude person (i said person. not restaurant. even the worst person, except this guy, that I met would be better than the owener)

If you will deliverily not bring food at time and feel like your loosing money with customers not ordering a la csrte, but all you can eat.

and if you will rudely offend people enjoying all you can eat food by telling people things like: it will take time just because your ordering for 3rd time (i prefer not to order all food at the same time to not make any leftover).

and if you intentionally not let people eat sashimis by bringing extra nigiris with tons of additional rice that I haven't ordered

and given number of beef rip ordered, if you will intentionally bring half of them in non-edible condition (half with too much fat and the other half only with bones)

and if you deliverily not bring extra order until 5 mins before the end of the time, and tell people: hey, your time is over and you cant order any more. with ANNOYED TONE which makes people very scary

please, don't run restaurant.

and please people, there are tonns of better places in toronto. don't...

*ice cream was the best part* vanilla . went here for the lunch all you can eat buffet and it costs $15.99 after tax comes to about $18. The sushi was mainly rice and a little bit of other stuff. I personally don't like yam or broccoli tempura but when you order it shrimp tempura it comes with three pieces of veggie and there's no way to just order the shrimp so I had to get all of it and if you waste five pieces of food the price goes up as there is a charge. Usually at all-you-can-eat they come and clear your table and give you another paper to select what you want again, but this restaurant the plates will stay on your table until you ask them to remove it and you have to ask for another paper to select more food. Servers are unattentive only waiting for you to finish eating to ask you if you want the bill. Very displeased but Sushi is sushi I wish the avocado would have tasted fresher and cold it kind of tasted like it was out for a while and some of the presentation was sloppy is not Envision but in terms of how do you Sushi was intact. I would go here again only if I was desperate for a lot of sushi for cheap but then I look for a McDonald's first

I tried couple of sushi restaurants but by far the worst of them. Bad service slow service. They had one waitress in a Saturday evening next to the bus station. I came in for the all you can eat menu. I asked the waitress about something on it and she repeated exactly what's written until I told her what is it exactly then she explained. So i did my first order salad and soup. I got my soup without a spoon maybe they drink that way but i never got a soup in a sushi restaurant without a spoon. There slushies almost all the same full of rice and a little bit of salmon or tuna or whatever i ordered. I finished my first order and was waiting for another paper to order and there she was behind the counter on her phone, after 10 minutes she comes and i order. At the end she comes to me and says do you want to order again, my answer was no but can you complete my first order so I can leave . So i do not recomend this sushi restaurant.

Seems like a lot of the bad reviews are from 5 years ago or so but I visited recently to give this place a try and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. For 29.99 AYCE it was not bad at all. Obviously not top-tier quality but for the price you pay it is very much worth it. The sashimi was fresh and the sushi rolls were pretty decent. Green tea ice cream was good too and you can get more than one. Service was okay and the restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday lunch, but it’s definitely worth a try if you want cheap sushi.
