Unfortunately this place was not it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Before I begin I’m going to start by saying it was Victoria Day Monday and so so so busy. But that isn’t really any excuse for the lack of quality we received. We ordered on line to by pass the line as the sign out front said. Knowing it was busy we were prepared to wait half hour -45 mins. After an hour and 12 mins and going back and forth multiple times it was finally ready. When my boyfriend received his fish tacos he was astounded by the lack of filling. It’s almost if they were running out of ingredients and instead of saying something they just threw it together. These tacos were filled for a baby and not enough for an adult. I got the chicken bowl and the only customization was no beans. Of course they gave me beans, but the worst part was that my rice was HARD and crunchy. Not at all enjoyable and not worth the $12.50. After eating we check our bag for the drinks we ordered and again, of course not there. It doesn’t end there though. After walking back to get our drinks he hands my boyfriend a cold ginger ale. And me a water WARM AS PISS. Honestly 0/10. Go to seven lives- go to anywhere but here. Not worth it at all. Way overhyped by social media. My heart is so...
Read moreThe taste of the tacos as well as the price are such good value.
We were not looking to eat a lot so for 2 people we ordered the 4x tacos for $16. For this price there were enough of the 4 soft tacos to share between 2 people.
What we tried was the Beef Barbacoa, Tongue (lengua), Intestine (Tripa), and Baja Fish. It was a good sampling variety. What I really appreciated was the chance to taste a lot of different types of taco flavours for a reasonable price.
They were also generous with their sauce or dip options. They have the sauces available in small packaging and you are free to get as much as you want. There are some guac, and different levels of hot sauces.
It may be a little hot inside the place waiting for the order to be made because of the ventilation situation. There is also no space to dine in inside so we had to do eating out at the nearby Bellevue Square Park on a fine, sunny Sunday afternoon.
Overall, I only have good things to say about the food and food value. There is a lot of different tacos to try out, as well as other similar places offering Latin American food...
Read moreOverall is not the best place for tacos. The tortilla super bad, the inside meat is good cooked good seasoning except for the pastor, that's why my two stars. Is not the best tacos in the city also not the worst, but I got sick and I'm Mexican, Moctezuma revenges attacks me, I will start with the good stuff, the green salsa really good, the totopos are amazing, I order 3 orders one tongue, one fish and pastor, also guacamole, the pictures looks way better than what actually is, the guacamole needed salt way too much salt, the tongue meat well done it was flavorish, but the taco was not good meaning the tortilla was super bad, even with the copy seems they unfrozen in the microwave and do the tacos, fish taco the tortilla was super bad as well the fish by itself was well cooked and seasoned, and the Pastor I haven't found any good pastor here in Toronto, and those ones make me sick nothing to rescue from those ones. and too expensive for what I got I've tried way better tacos the same price and lower price and way way better, I think the key is...
