The Bagel Stop — Restaurant in Toronto

I bought three bagel combos this morning and asked them to write which one was which bagel so we wouldn't have to open all the bagels and switch them between ourselves while waiting at the hospital. This seemed like such an outrageous request and I was told they can't write it multiple times, then the second employee went through multiple pens trying to write something for me while the first one kept complaining loudly that I asked to know which bagel was which. They also tried to charge me for upgrading my coffee which I did not request for. After I had received my order I saw both employees asking all other customers if they wanted a tray if they ordered coffee and I was never offered a tray with the coffees I ordered. I had to ask them for it again which seemed like such a tremendous task that I should have just balanced the coffees on my head instead - god forbid I expect the employees to do...

I'm a patient at TGH. Breakfast was so awful that I decided to go downstairs and get a breakfast bagel.

Staff was beyond rude with nobody else waiting.

I got a "scrambled egg and cheese" on a plain toasted bagel. It was like. Hewing dried rubber.

The nuked egg was rubbery and dry, cheese, while being extremely thin, was fine, and the bagel itself just sucked the moisture out of your mouth.

I hate Tim Hortons and Starbucks' food, but to be honest, they would have been a better choice here.

The eggn cheese from SB is actually pretty good for fast food.

I chose The Bagel Shop because other bagel specific places are great, like the Great Canadian Bagel and others.

I’ve never experienced anything quite like this place. I paid for a tea and she didn’t put the tea bag in, when I asked for it she said “No” She charged me for hot water. I asked if I could pay for a tea with milk she said “No” and took the cup out of my hand. And moved to the next customer (who looked scared to ask for her order) I don’t think this employee should be allowed around people. This was a very strange interaction. I wish I could give 0...
