Personally, I especially like their street eats menu. Basil chicken on rice and Spicy Eggplant Tofu are always my favorite even though it takes like 10 minutes to wait sometimes even longer in the lunch hour. Additionally, they provide very good service as well which I really appreciate particularly in the super busy time. They are attentive to explain the difference between various sources, because I cannot really take spicy. Last buy not least, I will definitely go back again. This is a very cozy and good vibes restaurant, I like this location which is just next to the King TTC station. I will bring my friends to come next time.

It's my first time to come this location. Love their service & smile☺. You can really feel their passion starts from you step into the shop. Cozy & clean environment. I was chilling with my friend, spacious branch. We ordered shrimp box which is a really tasty, they cooked the fresh shrimps for me. You can pick your own veggies & protein which is so fun!!!! We tried the homemade cookies as well, as we saw it on the poster. We love the cinnamon & chocolate combination. The texture was wonderful, this is the dessert you have to try. Not too sweet and not too oily health cookies. I like it!

Came here on May 10th just before they closed. I ordered pad thai with shrimp for my 5 year old and basil chicken for me so we could take it home to eat and avoid making dinner after a busy day. When I opened the boxes the noodles were white with zero sauce on them. The girl working didn’t put ANY sauce for either dish. What a huge waste of time and money. NEVER GO HERE.

Basil Box opened this location just this week and I couldn't be more excited! Can't get enough Asian lunch places in the financial district. I wouldn't call this Vietnamese food per se, more so an Asian fusion twist on the mundane boxed meals, bowls and salads downtown clientele have become accustomed to, perhaps a false sense of "healthy eating". That being said, Basil Box isn't necessarily a healthy option, it really depends on the options you choose! It's nice though, if you're being health conscious they are really good and labeling the toppings for calorie counting (life is too short though people, stop this).

Anywho you start with a base of rice noodles, brown rice, jasmine rice, mixed greens or any combination! I've tried the shrimp which was garlicky and delicious! The other protein options sound tasty too, like lemongrass chicken and coconut curry tofu. I really love their flavourful sauces that really ties everything together with the vegetables and garnishes!

All in all, a great spot and might be one of my new faves! The Thai iced tea is...

Ordered here on the app a week ago and the food was delicious, loved it. I ordered again through the app today and PAID for it on the app. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told they never received my order. That’s fine, it could be a glitch in the system. I showed the workers the app with the order, and said I even had an emailed receipt… only to be met with extreme annoyance. She rudely told me she didn’t have time to help me, that she doesn’t see the order in her system and that if I want, I should just cancel the order and try again before she walked away. This was originally a very understandable situation, but there was ABSOLUTELY no need to talk down to me. I wasn’t even arguing or anything… I just originally said that I ordered through the app and had paid.. I tried cancelling the order on the app too, but there’s no option to (which she couldn’t have known, so I don’t blame her there) so that’s $15...

Decent, but they were out of the soups which was the main reason I went in. Hopefully they’ll bring them back. The pad Thai was nice but slightly on the sweet side. I enjoyed the spice level of the medium but if you’re sensitive to spice, go for mild. Portion size was sufficient but not generous. Also, not many veggies in the Pad Thai other than a few pieces of corn. Could have added egg, sprouts, green onion, maybe sweet peppers to make it healthier and better. Service was friendly.

Real rating: Service: 4 Food: 3.75 Atmosphere, decor, cleanliness: 3.5 Value: 3 (for a couple dollars more you can get very good Thai food in Toronto, this was...
