Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Toronto

I waited for a donut and ice coffee, the customer service rep wasn’t at his station, then when he charged me he charged me a different order which cost more but gave me something that cost me 50c more, but I said will you refund the difference and he outright said “no”, so I asked why not? Didn’t I overpaid? And he said no, he couldn’t refund only 50c, and I said very politely maybe at least apologize for overcharging the wrong order ? Then he started raising his voice, I can’t refund 50c, just take the donut and go, I was so surprised I asked “what do you mean? You’re the one overcharging customers” there were police behind me, then he pulled out 50c from his cash register and said fine then take 50c from ‘my pocket’ … I said “what?? Your pocket? You could simply apologize making a mistake” and then he said next and i just stormed off without taking it. Terrible...

Pretty great experience when we came here. The store was packed so we had to wait in line for a bit but the servers worked quickly to take customer orders.

On this occasion, we were looking for some snacks so we ordered 20 timbits and 6 blueberry and apple danish. I could go without the latter and I wished that they had honey dip timbits but at least they had the strawberry filled one! I had a fantastic experience at this Tim Hortons! The service was quick, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Shweta and Gurpreet — both went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. Shweta greeted everyone with a warm smile and handled my order perfectly, while Gurpreet made sure everything was fresh and just the way I like it.
