Yummy Korean Food Restaurant lives up to its name, Yummy indeed! They offer decent portion sizes for delicious Korean cuisine. Despite the long wait times, the experience is well worth it. Make sure to register your place in line with their portable machine! They have a lot of space with their booth setup comfortably accommodating groups of six (10 booths), an additional two-three seater (3 booths) and one U-shaped section available in the back. The waiting list on a notepad allows guests to easily add their names and party size. The staff are very attentive and efficient service ensured a pleasant dining experience. The option to pay by credit card or cash. Despite a high volume of delivery and pickup orders, the food arrived promptly. During our visit, we ordered the stone bowl bibimbap with fried egg, sundubu-jjigae (Soft Tofu Soup) with seafood, and steamed pork and chive dumplings. The portion sizes were generous, and the dishes were flavourful. The stone bowl bibimbap had a decent amount of rice, while the soon tofu soup was filled with calamari, small shrimp, mussels, carrot, zucchini, and sometimes watercress. The pork and chive dumplings were served with two delicious dipping sauces (spicy vinegar soy sauce and sweet soy sauce, or sometimes just the soy sauce). Also, the side dishes are very delicious ranging from their kimchi, spicy radish, potato and bean sprouts. On another visit, we also had kimchi fried rice in a stone bowl and the potato pancake. Both were very tasty with the potato pancake tasting like french fries in shredded pancake form which was both amusing and delicious. Do note, sometimes their Tofu Soup might be overly salted which makes for a nice take home to dilute and double your lunch later!

The food here is very delicious. Food portion is large, prices are decent and food quality is great! I always love getting their pancakes and dumplings!

The only reason why I'm giving them 2 stars is because the rating is for the food, not the service. it's pretty safe to assume that they are racist. I'm Latina and I've went to this restaurant many times with my asian and white friends. Service was great and they were attentive

However, as soon as I came here with my black friend, service was terrible. They ignored us, would cater to the people who came in after us and as soon as we finally got their attention, they had an annoyed look on their face. Needless to say, I was shocked because this was my favourite Korean restaurant in Toronto and I never received such bad service from them before

My black friend and I ate at this restaurant twice and both time service was terrible. Third time we went during the evening and it was crowded. Usually when it's crowded, they will tell us an estimate of the wait time and ask if we would like to wait (it has happened before when i was with my white friends) But when I was with my black friend, they flat out told us no yet told other people after us who were not black that they can 10-15 min if its ok

I don't if it was just us who experienced this and I don't want to be like one of those people who eagerly shouts "racism" at every little thing, but that's how it felt for us. We couldn't think of any other reason. Our experience took place a few years ago and ever since then, we never came back to this restaurant anymore which is a shame because the...

🍽️ Food Review: 🍗🍯The Sweet & Sour Fried Chicken crispy on the outside, slightly chewy inside, and perfectly balanced in flavour. Beautifully plated and generously portioned; no wonder it was on nearly every table.

🍛🔥 The Stir-Fried Chicken Bulgogi served in sizzling hot in a cast-iron pan. The chicken was incredibly tender, coated in a deeply flavourful marinade with just the right mix of vegetables. Easily enough to share and a definite must-try.

🍜🥩 The Stir-Fried Glass Noodles with Vegetables and Beef The beef was cooked to perfection, and the warm noodles paired nicely with the bold flavours of the bulgogi. Presentation was simple, but the taste delivered.

👨‍🍳 Service Review We visited during the weekend rush, so we waited about 30–45 mins, but the self-serve kiosk helped manage it smoothly. Despite the crowd, food arrived quickly. Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, checking in mid-meal and serving everything in proper order.

🪑 Atmosphere Review The space was clean and vibrant, with K-pop music videos playing in the background which added fun; especially if you're a fan. Not too loud despite being busy. Only downside: the washroom needed a bit more upkeep.

🥡👥 Takeout matched the dine-in quality, fresh, well-packaged, and just as tasty, making it a great option for home meals or small gatherings. Prices were very reasonable, and portion sizes were generous across the board.

⭐ 5/5 – Highly recommend for flavourful Korean dishes, lively vibes, and great...
