Sushi California — Restaurant in Township of Langley

Read through the other reviews carefully. Because either these guys are reviewing themselves or the sushi chefs here are not at all consistent. I've had much better sushi from a grocery store to be honest (and that's saying a lot)! I ordered a BC roll, Spicy Salmon roll, and a California roll. The BC roll was full of greasy fried fish skin and no fish - disgusting... the salmon inside the Spicy Salmon roll tasted like it was out of a can and they'd just mixed siracha sauce into it (also disgusting). The California roll was the only thing that was edible and it too was not very good, due to the fact that the rolls just fall apart (because they stuff it with an unnecessary amount of small cucumber slices - just stupidly put together to make it look bigger). And to top it all off the reviews which state that the rice is bland are also correct! All-in-all this was a very bad sushi experience. Just because the rolls are bigger and they charge a couple of dollars less than their competitors - I feel like a lot of people are overlooking the actual quality...

Arigatou ありがとう ! My favorite Sushi chain in Vancouver and I'm therefore humbly stoked and super lucky that they have a few locations scattered around Greater Vancouver. The quality, grade of quality, taste and freshness of the sushi is always super up to scratch at a fantastic competitive value with a sweet dining area and classic menu. Pretty much a common order for me today with some super yummy Takoyaki たこ焼き, huge fat and stuffed Yam Tempura Roll さつまいもの天ぷら and Dynamite Rolls 炸虾卷 . I also tried the Unagi Roll ウナギ for a first time which was dope! Incredibly tasty and good portions. As always, top off this awesome experience with a classic Tamago Roll 玉子焼き, you can never go wrong. Brown rice options are phenomenal at a small added value but totally worth trying to mix things up. The staff are super friendly, approachable, efficient and talented at making incredibly delicious food and atmosphere. A cute and quaint vibe in this laid back joint makes it a great option always. i work as a food delivery driver and was picking up an order from here. sat down as the waitress was taking an order from a customer. i assumed the order was still being made as i was ignored completely, so i waited. i tried saying something and waving at her but she continued to pretend i was not there, i could spot slight malice in her face. so i went up to the cashier at the back and inquired about the order, where i discovered the order was sitting on a nearby table for as long as i was. i was in shock

as they seemed to forget that delivery drivers are potential customers i will never in my life be coming here as a customer if this is how you treat other service workers. in over 100 deliveries i've only had one other experience like this. -- looking at other reviews for this place it appears this isn't the only time they were rude to delivery drivers....
